I wish I had a Menards near me. The employees here aren't quite as friendly as other locations but they're still nice enough. They are all able to help when asked, and the prices are generally better than other stores if you know what you're shopping for. I love the large selection of stuff--yes stuff. Service is very poor. When you have ask more than one person to find where things are located at. I had to ask 3 different associates where to find a flat cart. Which was all the in the far back right corner of the store. The selection is okay, in fact it might be too okay. They have a lot of selection but that isn't good if you have walk all over the store more than once to find the products you are looking for. The value is not that exceptional. In fact I would rather pay a little more and get better service. It's simply not worth the very little money you may be saving. I don't plan to come back anytime soon! read more

I drove 45 minutes to make a $200+ purchase; and was in a very happy-to-be -alive mood. 4 promo posters were displayed in the aisle having the products and brand I came to buy; however, the promo details were not clear to me. I asked a nearby associate who was polite yet just as unclear about the promo details; thus, I asked for a manager. After waiting some time a middle-aged female arrived, from the start, beligerant and argumentative; not offering any resolution regarding the unclear promo; thus, I asked for the store manager (on duty PM). Waiting again, what seemed like forever, I was approached by a seemingly very young obviously inexperienced male identifying himself as the store manager; however, blatantly lacking in any effective customer relation skills as well as problem-solving skills for the matter at hand. Additionally, he displayed no care or concern for the disrespect presented me from the prior female calling herself a manager. After more than an hour, my time wasted, I left the premises now feeling sick to my stomach as well as exhausted from this less-than-favorable shopping experience. read more

I special ordered a double hung bathroom window which was quite expensive for the size from Menards. I picked it up assuming a special order would be correct. My contractor installed it the same day. I was unable to check it for a few days and when I did, I discovered that it was only a single hung. This window is very high off the ground and I am unable to reach it to clean the outside. This is why I paid an higher price and ordered a double hung window. I contacted the store where I purchased it and they said that they couldn't do anything about it even though I was charged the higher price. I have emailed Menards customer service and sent an in store complaint with pictures to the company but no one will respond. I would not recommend special ordering windows from Menards! read more

1 Star because nothing lower is possible. A special order is now past is quoted arrival date and I called the Paducah store to get some info on it. I was told "it will get when it gets here". This is not aceptable for a $10 order much less the $2500 order for which I paid. I asked about cancelling it and was told it would be a 25% charge. I told her this was not acceptable given that Menards failed to meet the quoted delivery date and she hung up on me. In addition, 4 emails over the last 2 days to "customer service" have been ignored. The 11% rebate is not worth this kind of treatment. read more

Our favorite store. Convenient when we need project supplies or parts. Great place shop for Christmas gifts too! Wether it's a hot water heater, appliance, or trash bags Menards carries many items on our list. And we are happy with the service and prices. This store is a happy place to shop. read more

I was told I would get free delivery on my garage door order. Free delivery was even on my receipt. It was shipped to the store and when i showed them the receipt with the free delivery on it they told me it was a mistake, and I would have to pay a delivery fee. I talked to a guy who said he was the general manager trying to return the door and was told I would be charged a 20% restocking fee. The next day I borrowed a trailer, just to be told after waiting about an hour they can't even find the order. The guy who was trying to help me called someone, who turned out to be the real GM. So the other guy lied about being the GM. The actual GM was very professional and helpful, though my order still had to be reordered. read more

this store has the poorest customer service I have experienced!! On more than one occasion I have had to talk with the people at the front desk, and each time, I was met with attitude. Like you are bothering them when you need help. I brought a tag from the shelf and showed them the price, showed them the UPC code, and was told,"we don't go by that and you have to pay the higher price"! I have now started taking ad or prices to Home Depot, they price match and I don't get the rudeness that you get from Marion Menards!!! read more

Good store, friendly customer service. We are normally there at least 3 times per month.

Better choice than similar places in the area. They've always been helpful and have competitive prices especially if it's on sale. Have even had good luck out of some cheaper lines of product brand from this place. Have lasted far better than some cheapie stuff at lowes. Good luck getting any help in this store. Almost impossible. I was in there 2 days ago, and asked for help in paging someone, after literally an hour, some showed up, or rather I lagged them down in the ales. Any credit or rebate is in the form of a in store credit. Prices are good. Most stuff made in Mexico. Know what your looking for before you go in. read more
