I paid for a "deep clean" of my Mother in laws place. They cleaned on a Friday. Now, understand that I paid for a deep clean of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the kitchen and living room. My mother in law told the lady to skip the 2 bedrooms upstairs which was not part of the agreement. However, in the kitchen... the stove top, floor, counters, and dishwasher door were not cleaned. In fact, the floor had a pile of crumbs on it and same for in front of the sofa. Downstairs in the primary bedroom, the furniture was not dusted, and the floor in the bathroom was not cleaned. I know it wasn't discussed, but also the laundry area was not cleaned at all. Which would have been nice to clean since she didn't have to clean 2 of the bedrooms. We were very disappointed in this "deep clean" since it was hardly a normal cleaning. I don't think this employee did a good job at all.

I told her my focus points which were my bathrooms, kitchen, and dusting and wiping down my inside windows. She was transparent with me about one of my showers having mold in the caulking that was difficult to remove and I Understood. I think she did a good job overall but I wouldn't call this a deep cleaning in my opinion. I think if you really want a deep cleaning you need at least 2 people. I think I paid $175 and tipped her $40 as well and I do feel like it was a fair price for the cleaning that was done. I was really hoping baseboards, cabinets, and fridge doors would be wiped down. She did a good job in my bathrooms and oven was clean inside as well but not my microwave. Don't expect them to sweep or vacuumed under furniture tho. I would hire again but maybe 2 people next time for it to be extra clean.
