My husband and I have wanted to get a tattoo for quite awhile, so when our friends came to town, we called Memory Lane Tattoos. Called and they got us all in that day. Chris has a great personality and was patient with all of us since it was our first tattoo, for all of us. We all wanted palm trees and Chris helped us pick out a design that fit each of us. Very friendly staff, I am from another state and was visiting. I had 2 very small finger tattoos done there. I will say the ink was spraying everywhere and now that there healed they look like home done tatts. I have had many tattoos done before and this was poor quality. They use good in (starbright) but the artist seemed inexperienced or just didn't care. I will not be going back they're! Now I have to spend more $ to have them fixed so they don't look like jail tatts. Very disappointed! read more

Ok bottom line is this : if you are in bradenton and want a tatoo you would simply be doing yourself an injustice if you dont visit Chris. Ive had a basic design that i shopped a little around town. I decided today was the day. I went to a few shops, some were just plain uncomfortable. A few were ok bit wanted way too much for what i was asking for. Enough about them! I walked in and immediately realized this shop was at a different scale all together. I spoke to Chris and showed him the artwork i had in mind. Firstly what i had was really quite generic. Essentially an outline of a skull. He showed me some art of his and incorporated a much more detailed skull into what i had in mind. I was completely blown away just in the fact he took the time to make the stencil into exactly what i wanted, rather than just take what i brought and call it a day! From a price aspect it was half what a few others wanted for thr generic one. I wasnt really paying attention while he was actually doing the tat. I looked over a few minutes in expecting about half of the outline to be done only to realize he was actually into the details. The quality was amazing, the price great, and the time to do was jawdroppnig. To look at the detail and shading involved i would have expected to be there three times as long. Simply awesome job and will be back many times! Thanks again Chris! read more
