Me and my sister walked in for a wrist tattoo and Steve was awesome! Highly recommend this studio, awesome experience!

Poor communication and rude service. After completing and notarizing the required consent form, we were turned away despite being told walk-ins were accepted. When we returned, the younger man repeatedly interrupted me and could not have been ruder about an ID requirement that was never mentioned over the phone. A third employee behind the counter did apologize, which I appreciated, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! I've been tattooed by multiple artists in the show and they're all AMAZING! Most recently I got to sit through a realism tattoo with Brandon Sommers and it was honestly and honor and a privilege to be in his chair! The tattoo literally left me speechless with how beautiful and detailed it is. Jess has also done a couple of my tattoos and my for my son, she is absolutely wonderful! As well as Duncan has done one for me. Never leave thos place disappointed. If you're looking for good art there is probably at least on artists in this shop that would fit your needs! Check them out! You won't be sorry, I will honestly never go somewhere else. read more

Went in as a walk-in. I had an appointment at another shop and they never showed up. Thankfully, It worked out great! Jess got me right in. I came in with just an idea and she took the time to help me design it. Very friendly and she knew her stuff! I was very impressed with the work. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. All my business will be here now. Great price for great work. Please check them out. read more

Nurse Cathy is amazing! My old piercer moved so when I started having issues with my nose piercing, I didn't know where to go. I found her and am so grateful! She handled my piercing issue so graciously and expertly. Months later when I came to get my nose re-pierced, it was quick and (almost) painless! Same great care as always. The place is very clean and you can tell they take sterilization seriously. read more

I booked an appointment online with Ryan to have my nipples pierced. There was a $10 booking fee, totally understandable, and I had no I wait time on arrival. Ryan was professional, knowledgeable, and I felt very comfortable. He took time to explain every detail of the piercing and after care, asked multiple times if I had any questions or concerns, and was meticulous about correct placement before piercing. I was worried about the pain, but Ryan was so quick I hardly felt anything and was so relieved and super glad I came to Classic Ink. I highly recommend this studio and thank you so much Ryan! read more

I was a walk in just passing by and made an impromptu decision to get a nostril piercing. The wait wasn't bad I was able to put myself on the list and walk down to one of the bars down the street and come back while I waited. Ryan was easy to talk to, made me feel very comfortable with the process explaining every step and helping me in making the decision on piercing placement. I appreciated cutting up with him to calm my nerves. He had me in and out in 15 mins. I'll be back when it's time to change it out read more

Classic Ink Tattoos & Comics. We came for the comics. The tattoo area is in the back. Staff was nice and offered to help but we just wanted to take our time and look at the variety of new and old comics. Nice and organized. Tidy. There are shelves and shelves and boxes and boxes of old and new comic and new and old figures. ((Even old Star Wars figures in funny packaging that said Old School Collectable-gluten free) Enjoyable read more

Amazing shop, it's my go to. I love all the artists, piercers and employees. I've never been dissatisfied with any work I've gotten done here. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. Lee, the artist, was fantastic in his abilities, concentration and knowledge. I would recommend. However, the customer service was lacking on the place itself. The manager/owner and desk staff wouldn't acknowledge me, look me in the eye or even smile. Felt unwelcomed for sure. It wasn't me personally - they did the same no matter who came in. I won't go back. read more

Great place! Would go anywhere else. I have had at least 12 tattoos there from Brandon S. Highly recommend to everyone!

In July 2019 I found Classic Ink in Bradenton when we walked past it to go to the Bishop Museum. I wandered in to look at their collection of funko pop items and chatted with the staff. My son and I decided we wanted to get tattooed. I am a cancer survivor and hate the scars it left behind. I wanted marks of my own choosing and decided on 2 small Harry Potter tattoos. I am over the moon with the work that @michaelpaultattoo did! He added his own style to both of my tattoos as well as my sons. My tattoos give me joy every time I look at them. Michael is such an amazing artist and a big pussycat!!! I was also very impressed with how clean the shop is! Can't wait to have more work done! Fast forward to December - I asked Mike to work on another Harry Potter piece - Professor Snape and his patronus. I showed Mike an all black tattoo - and he made it magical!! read more

3rd time I've been here they always talk to me condescendingly and like I'm dumb for not knowing the answers to the questions I'm asking

Can't speak for the tattoos HOWEVER my friend and I saw Ryan to get our ears pierced. I got my first cartilage (conch) and she got her 2nd set of lobe piercings. He did a great job and we love them. He was also very informative, greeted us as soon as we got there, and had a great sense of humor we vibed with. He was also very precise at making sure the placement was correct which we appreciated. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely go back to him when I want more piercings. read more

Completely unimpressed. My friend and I are in town looking to get tattoos, and went to Classic Ink after reading the great reviews. We spoke with Lee on two occasions. He was rude, dismissive, and apparently incapable of tattooing very simple designs. He spoke to us like we were idiots and a total inconvenience despite spending maybe 10 minutes max in the store. We went a mile and a half away to another tattoo shop and had a vastly different experience. So glad we left! I would not recommend this shop to anyone. What I WOULD recommend is some serious customer service training for Lee. read more

Highly recommend Nurse Cathy for piercings. She pierced my daughters nose and talked her through it. Amazing bedside manner!

After research I decided to go to Classic Ink for my first tattoo. I had my own idea as to what I wanted. I am a 2 time cancer survivor & wanted to show my courageous battles with a Survivor tattoo. Worked with Lee Wright, told him my idea & he drew up exactly what I wanted. Strong as a Palm & the Wave carried it all away. It turned out amazing. Very pleased & happy. read more

Went in for a consultation as they require but Pollo was vague on pricing! After asking several times what the cost would be he only said $100 minimum! No size reference given! They know how long a tattoo will take in general. He has done this for 23 yrs. We would have made adjustments to what we wanted in order to make this affordable! Who the hell charges $200 an hour???? No where did Pollo mention this at all!!!!!! Pissed off to say the least. read more

This place is so unprofessional. They owe me gas money. I always called ahead to make sure the piercer is on staff. They told me she would be there Sunday, I showed up and they said she took a personal day. Whatever, something came up that's fine. I called ahead today, they said she'd be here until 8PM. I showed up at 6:15. Guy goes to tell her I'm here, she says she's doing her last one and isn't going to take anymore. Wow. You really cannot be assed to do your job during the hours you are specified to be open? Never been so pissed at a business in my life and I've been to multiple tattoo/piercing places. Unbelievable. read more

I walked in a couple of weeks ago to get my septum pierced and Ryan was the best! He is an absolute gem! I would recommend him 100% to anyone looking to get a piercing. Both times I have been here, the artist are sitting around and are very unfriendly and un-approachable. When I asked if they could incorporate items in tattoo the respomse was a bland "email it to me ill see what I can do". How about some enthusiasm?! Or just be personable! I agree with the other comments. I have been to this shop before and got the same feeling. They are also extremely expensive and work is just ok. I will not be back. Nurse Kathy is great! I've gone in a few times for piercings & LOVED her. However, the man in the front & who always answers the phone is always so rude and condescending.
