Most recently I got to sit through a realism tattoo with Brandon Sommers and it was honestly and honor and a privilege to be in his chair! The tattoo literally left me speechless with how beautiful and detailed it is. Jess has also done a couple of my tattoos and my for my son, she is absolutely wonderful! I booked an appointment online with Ryan to have my nipples pierced. There was a $10 booking fee, totally understandable, and I had no I wait time on arrival. Ryan was professional, knowledgeable, and I felt very comfortable. He took time to explain every detail of the piercing and after care, asked multiple times if I had any questions or concerns, and was meticulous about correct placement before piercing. I was worried about the pain, but Ryan was so quick I hardly felt anything and was so relieved and super glad I came to Classic Ink. I was a walk in just passing by and made an impromptu decision to get a nostril piercing. The wait wasn't bad I was able to put myself on the list and walk down to one of the bars down the street and come back while I waited. Ryan was easy to talk to, made me feel very comfortable with the process explaining every step and helping me in making the decision on piercing placement. me and my friend both have had terrible experiences with piercings here, the jewelry quality is not up to standard my jewelry shouldn't be tarnishing in my ear. the staff are disrespectful and clearly not educated enough on what their job entails one girl there said to me "i don't know? i just work here" when i asked her what gauge nose piercings are usually pierced with. i went to another piercing shop desperate for different jewelry, i was told flat backs weren't recommended for ear piercings and then i go to this other shop that is clearly more educated in what they do and they encouraged me to get a flat back and new jewelry and now my piercing is doing amazing. i don't know what mixed metals those jewelry are made of but it is not up to standard. my friend went in to get a navel piercing, it was improperly pierced with the improper jewelry, mind you we look on the website at the staff names and the lady who pierced my friend isn't even listed as a piercer!! i could go on and on about all the terrible stories me and people i know have had because they have come here to get pierced. do not recommend at all and if you do to any other shop they will tell you how many peoples piercings they have had to try and fix because of the lack of education. read more

The manager/owner and desk staff wouldn't acknowledge me, look me in the eye or even smile. Felt unwelcomed for sure. It wasn't me personally - they did the same no matter who came in. In July 2019 I found Classic Ink in Bradenton when we walked past it to go to the Bishop Museum. I wandered in to look at their collection of funko pop items and chatted with the staff. My son and I decided we wanted to get tattooed. I am a cancer survivor and hate the scars it left behind. I wanted marks of my own choosing and decided on 2 small Harry Potter tattoos. I am over the moon with the work that @michaelpaultattoo did! He added his own style to both of my tattoos as well as my sons. My tattoos give me joy every time I look at them. Michael is such an amazing artist and a big pussycat!!! I was also very impressed with how clean the shop is! Can't wait to have more work done! Fast forward to December - I asked Mike to work on another Harry Potter piece - Professor Snape and his patronus. I showed Mike an all black tattoo - and he made it magical!! read more

Can't speak for the tattoos HOWEVER my friend and I saw Ryan to get our ears pierced. I got my first cartilage (conch) and she got her 2nd set of lobe piercings. He did a great job and we love them. He was also very informative, greeted us as soon as we got there, and had a great sense of humor we vibed with. He was also very precise at making sure the placement was correct which we appreciated. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely go back to him when I want more piercings. read more

Completely unimpressed. My friend and I are in town looking to get tattoos, and went to Classic Ink after reading the great reviews. We spoke with Lee on two occasions. He was rude, dismissive, and apparently incapable of tattooing very simple designs. He spoke to us like we were idiots and a total inconvenience despite spending maybe 10 minutes max in the store. We went a mile and a half away to another tattoo shop and had a vastly different experience. So glad we left! I would not recommend this shop to anyone. What I WOULD recommend is some serious customer service training for Lee. read more

Went in for a consultation as they require but Pollo was vague on pricing! After asking several times what the cost would be he only said $100 minimum! No size reference given! They know how long a tattoo will take in general. He has done this for 23 yrs. We would have made adjustments to what we wanted in order to make this affordable! Who the hell charges $200 an hour???? No where did Pollo mention this at all!!!!!! Pissed off to say the least. read more

This place is so unprofessional. They owe me gas money. I always called ahead to make sure the piercer is on staff. They told me she would be there Sunday, I showed up and they said she took a personal day. Whatever, something came up that's fine. I called ahead today, they said she'd be here until 8PM. I showed up at 6:15. Guy goes to tell her I'm here, she says she's doing her last one and isn't going to take anymore. Wow. You really cannot be assed to do your job during the hours you are specified to be open? Never been so pissed at a business in my life and I've been to multiple tattoo/piercing places. Both times I have been here, the artist are sitting around and are very unfriendly and un-approachable. When I asked if they could incorporate items in tattoo the respomse was a bland "email it to me ill see what I can do". How about some enthusiasm?! Or just be personable! I agree with the other comments. I have been to this shop before and got the same feeling. They are also extremely expensive and work is just ok. I will not be back.
