First, for 30 minutes before the movie starts there is live music, and there is no shortage of great performers in the area. This summer included movies such as Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe, the Blues Brothers, Strangers on a Train (love Hitchcock), Amelie, and Goldfinger. There was also a great set of wildlife documentaries and a discussion with the filmmaker. Keep it up. Lots of fun.

Pepper my dog was so tiered of driving she wanted to live here! The area had great hiking and the cottage was always a warm cosy home base. Morning scones were fantastic, and never went to waste. A little butter and jam and heaven! The hardest part now is scheduling the return trip!

Cavalier Cottage offers pet friendly lodging which we took advantage of with our two pugs. I figured we were only going there to pick up the cart, however we spent the day checking out all the little shops around town and ate in the West End Pub. Patricia offers a clean room with a full kitchen. She is very friendly and kind offering us whatever we needed. I would definitely recommend the Cavalier Cottage. We will be staying there the next time we're in Shelburne Falls.
