They executed everything perfectly, keeping us ahead of our timeline while ensuring every moment was captured. They listened but also led and guided everyone perfectly. They were also so supportive and helping to keep everyone's nerves down being warm and caring. I could not have asked for a better team to execute my wedding day ! Thank you all TRULY

Amanda was my photographer. The assistant photographer did a better job than my main photographer. The photos looked like an absolute mess. The getting ready photos that we're taken in my house, we're not set up by the photographer at all. She was just snapping photos from every angle with dresses, bags in the back, my bridesmaids in the back doing their own make up, all the bridal robes all over the place. When I brought this to their attention they used Covid as an excuse that they are unable to move things out of the photo and lack of space in houses (Funny - because my house has a ton of space). The whole point of having a photographer is to set up the scene if they didn't think the photo looked nice then she should've moved me to a different angle with nothing in the background. They also used the excuse that these were all candid shots. A candid shot is still set up nicely. I will The photographer put no creativity and energy into taking the photos, it was as if she just snapped a random 2000 photos and hoped for the best. When the photographer walked in, one thing I was specific about was where to take my detailed shots. I showed her the location of where I wanted them and trusted her that they would be done this way. She instead took it upon herself to use a different scene with my kitchen and microwave in the background of the photos. She was too busy in my house taking pictures of random things, like a half eaten tray of fruit, a tray of bagels that was already cut into, magnets on my fridge, and picture frames in my house instead of focusing on me and setting up the scene to make the photos look nice. Some of the most important moments such as the first look with my father, walking down the aisle with my father were messed up and blurry. These are photos that I would never be able to retake. I was actually concerned and wanted to bring it to the attention of Silver Fox and had a nasty response from Danielle, basically blaming everything on candid shots and Covid. I was then redirected to the manager and explained everything to him. I also mentioned why we didn't take more photos outside and his response was the photographer said it was cold out. My wedding was in March, obviously it was cold but I was the one in the dress and I was not complaining. He acknowledged that my photographer did remember me specifically telling her where to take the detailed shots and instead did it in a different place with the kitchen as a backdrop anyway. I was told that since I am feeling this way he could edit 20 photos for me. After spending almost $6000, being extremely disappointed and embarrassed to show people my wedding photos, I do not think that editing 20 photos would correct how I felt. It was the way the photographer did the job. Apparently after several emails, the photos are up to Silver Fox studios standards. That says a lot and anyone that is reading this review should know that apparently they have very low standards. I got better pictures from my friends iPhones the following day.

She is an incredible photographer, and a wonderful person to spend your special day with. If I could give Everly Studios 10 stars, I would. Every step of the way, our wedding day was done our way. From our first phone call, Jocelyn really listened to us and understood our vision for our wedding day. She helped us plan an itinerary for the day that was authentic and effortless. On our wedding day, Jocelyn was the only person present, and we wouldn't have it any other way. She was our witness, our hype-woman, and captured every moment of the day along the way. She did the vital job of documenting our special day, but she was also a joy to be with. She made us feel completely at ease with her and her camera. The photos speak for themselves. She fully encompassed our vision of moody, candid, authentic, dramatic shots. We are so proud to show off these pictures, and every person we show is blown away by them. Perhaps more important than the incredible aesthetic of the shots, though, is that she captured us. She captured our energies, our story, and chronicled the best day of our lives. Jocelyn, we cannot thank you enough for documenting our wedding day with your art. To anyone considering elopement photographers, you will be glad you chose Everly Studios!

We met with Jocelyn Voo over Zoom before moving forward with working with her for our special day as our photographer and our witness. Jocelyn was absolutely outstanding for more reasons than one. Firstly, we felt that she really "GOT" us, from start to finish. She listened to our vision (dark, moody, candid, casual, gritty) and as wild as some of our ideas were, she totally leaned in and delivered exactly what we were looking for! Secondly, when you're eloping just the two of you, having a third person present is intimidating; what if it's awkward? What if the vibes are weird? But Jocelyn was an absolute joy to spend time with! I'd go so far as to say that her presence made the day even more special. She asked us about our love story, she joked around with us, and seemed genuinely interested in who we were as people. This also impacted the photos, as you can see how comfortable we are and how much fun we're having. Third, Jocelyn is an expert at her craft, although not pretentiously so. Her website offers so much guidance on how the elopement process works. Her emails with us gave us contacts for who to reach out to for certain steps (We took pictures in the lobby of the Beekman and had to have permission granted; something we certainly wouldn't have known!) Not only did we consider Jocelyn our photographer, but our guide in the process of eloping. She also is an expert in that her photo-taking does not appear obvious! I was worried about having professional pictures taken of me in public, but onlookers barely noticed as Jocelyn very naturally pulled her camera out and snapped pictures. If you are eloping in NYC, there is simply no contest; Jocelyn at Everly Studios is your photographer. You won't regret it, and I genuinely believe our wedding day would not have been as smooth and enjoyable if it weren't for Jocelyn.

Last year we got there early and entered right in time, this year we were 6 minutes late, they called us at the 5 min mark and i told them we were 1 min away. They were nice about it but next time i will leave a lot earlier due to traffic from the Bronx to Long Island on a Friday night. Thankfully we were dressed up and were able to enter quickly. My son loved this experience, from the allergy free cookie, to the gold coin and reindeer food, but most of all, the staff and Santa! This time my son went into the room when Santa was not there, after taking a few pictures he wished for Santa and Santa appeared! So nice and magical, i know the pictures will be just as great as they were last year! It does take a bit for the pics. Last year we went Dec 6 and got the pics about 3 days before Christmas. This year it was Dec 5 so i am expecting about the same. We are already planning to go back next year for their new experience with Santa & Mrs Claus ! Highly recommend booking early, this booking was made in July and the previous year in August. I plan to book this time with early release in January/February!

Like most families, we booked this experience with the expectation that, as a professional photography business, photos would be delivered in a reasonable timeframe, specifically in time for Christmas. We reserved our session well in advance for November 25, assuming that a full month would be more than sufficient to receive proofs, select photos, create Christmas cards, and share images with family, teachers, and school staff before winter break. Today is December 17, 22 days after our session, and we still have not received our photos. At this point, it is far too late to use them for Christmas cards, gifts, or even framed photos. This completely defeats the purpose of booking a holiday photography experience. What is most frustrating is that the business is fully aware of the seasonal time sensitivity of these sessions and still charges a premium price. When we asked if we could receive just one or two photos early so we could at least make a Christmas card, we were told no. While I agree with other reviewers that the Santa himself is wonderful--engaging, kind, and genuinely memorable for the kids--the overall experience does not justify the cost. Paying $400 for a 20-minute session with no reasonable photo turnaround time is unacceptable. In previous years, this experience cost less and photos were delivered in time, which makes this even more disappointing. From my perspective, this feels like a business that has overbooked, raised prices, and prioritized revenue over delivering on what families are actually paying for. A professional photography business should be able to manage editing and delivery timelines, especially during the busiest and most important season of the year. Bottom line: Great Santa, but not worth the price. If you are expecting to receive your photos in time for Christmas, I would not recommend this experience. I would not book this again. UPDATE: We received the pictures too late to make any cards (12/19 which was 24 days from our shoot date). The images look like they were edited by a child. Steam coming out of cups of milk? Random stars/sparkles placed on some of the photos though one just didn't have any. Cannot believe they want us to believe it takes over 3 weeks to add some stars to a picture. The business shared an apology video, which was 17 minutes long and made some grand plans however that requires spending more $$$$ at this business which I never would do again.
