I have been to this store many times, but today I had a horrible experience. I went inside with my…read morethree year old son, in his stroller, and was looking for decorations for an upcoming birthday event I am hosting. I have a cold and wearing a tight N95 mask on and started to cough in the store (far away not next to anyone meanwhile there was only one other customer there) and the cashier starts running around the store spraying lysol all around. I noticed a spray bottle over my head through a shelf and he just kept going round and round spraying every inch of the store. This is incredibly rude and putting toxins in the air for others to breathe in including my son. As he's spraying he's telling me he's doing so to protect his employees, but my mask is protecting them more than toxins. He could've politely asked me to leave if he felt so uncomfortable, but he just kept going on and on telling me to leave while spraying the air and then ended it with I never said you had to leave. Your disgusting action was enough and you're a grown man who did not have a problem saying many things to me, you could've just came to me and spoke nicely. Another customer was waiting to purchase something and she decided to leave after the behavior she witnessed. He is clearly uneducated on how masks work and was completely rude spraying it over my head and I would never reccomend this shop again. I have been there before, but they have lost a customer. If you need items you can find the same items with affordable pricing at other places too. When I entered the shop he was also rude to a grandfather with his grandson. The grandson was touching a balloon & he told the little boy if he pops it his grandfather has to buy the entire bunch of balloons attached to it. No joking tone, just attitude and that family left too.

I have never had a balloon bouquet not last days or sometimes a couple of weeks, but this was my first, and now last, experience of Gigsy. This was a destination weekend and the collapsed bouquet the next day ruined how the decorations looked in what was supposed to be a special weekend. He was very communicative--even with the 13 hour time difference, I was able to coordinate with him easily. I had my husband be taken out of the house three hours before the party to set up... the balloon arch was delivered right on time. The photographer showed up half an hour earlier than the party. The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. Very natural (sometimes it's awkward when a photographer's in your face taking pictures but it wasn't awkward at all). We got a USB full of pictures right after the party! When I suggested she do exactly that, she was resistant. She also mentioned pricing in a way that felt oddly out of context, almost as if she was implying the balloons were expensive. When I pointed out that she seemed unwilling to help, her explanation was that it was St. Patrick's Day and she was surrounded by balloons. That's not a customer service response, that's an excuse.
