Part 3 I could not believe how I was being treated by this man after I've been so nice to him and done nothing wrong to him. Anyway he doesn't call in five minutes. He calls in 10 minutes. This man is not good at keeping his word about anything. He calls back at 11:13 AM giving me more attitude when I only want my car. He blames me that I left my car there on the holiday. This conversation was only one minute long. I couldn't even say everything I wanted to say at this point, I was so fuming by how i was being treated I called him an irresponsible owner over the phone and he tries to argue that he is not an irresponsible owner, which I really don't even care to hear anything He has to say at this point because at this point I just want my car so I asked him when he's gonna be at the shop so I can get my car. He tells me that when he gets there to open up the shop I said I have to take a lyft to get to your shop. I need to know what time and he then hangs up the phone on me like he hung up the first time. This is not the first time I've seen him do something like this. I watched him do this in his shop on the phone with someone else.So I proceeded to call the cops and I asked the detective to get a time for me because I'm having issues with the owner. The detective calls me back and tells me that he told him 3 PM after I got off the phone with the detective. I get a text message from Brad on my personal cell phone a paragraph of ridiculousness and then he continues to send me a picture of himself in a restaurant talking about he's about to go into a meeting at this point he's being childish and immature and not taking anything seriously obviously because he must think this is a joke. I don't understand why he told the detective 3 PM when he made it seem like he was gonna be at the shop much sooner than that when I got off the phone with him and then text me weird stuff and tells me he's at the shop 12:29 PM telling me to come get my car. I had to hurry up and get a Lyft because I didn't want no one messing with my car because I don't trust them after this type of behavior and I made sure to have a civil standby from the Melvindale police to assist me in getting my car so there would be no issues or nothing said or done that the police did not see or hear because I know this man is a crook. I go to the shop and the police arrive and one is in the shop and the other is outside with me and the door is open in Brad hands me my key and tells me no bill and something else. Which I really didn't need to hear because I'm not paying you anything! He tried to start speaking and I just pointed my finger at him and said I do not want to speak to you and I closed the door and got in my car and left. I ended up going to Dix Auto Clinic down the road and they took really good care of me in the same day for a great deal and they showed me everything wrong with my car and the parts once they were replaced. And come to find out Brads shop did a shoddy job on my rear brakes so now I have to get those replaced after only two months of just having that work done. They said they have also heard a lot of complaints from customers about this shop and he told me some other things I will not write on here about Brad. I was very disappointed to have experienced this here. But what the enemy meant for evil God turned it in my favor! Go to Dix Auto Clinic! They actually care about their customers. read more

Part2 After getting off of a hostile phone call with Brad on December 26, 2024 around 11 o'clock in the morning he tells me that it's my fault that I left my car there on the holiday when I actually left my car there two days before Christmas expecting to have it back the same day on Monday. So I waited an hour to hear an update on my car after I got dropped off. 11 o'clock rolls by no update from the shop so I gave it a little more time then I called at 11:29am I get no answer. Gave it another half an hour or so no answer. Around 1:11pm I start to call again and walk back to the shop to see what's going on because they really are bad at answering the phone. I get there and it's cold outside and the shop door is locked my car is parked in the parking lot with the doors unlocked. I call again maybe someone is inside having lunch. No. I sit for an half hr outside the shop and no one comes back. So now I'm stranded without my only form of transportation and income because my car is my job, right before the holidays. I was not updated or informed about the shop closing early or that no work would be done on my car and basically I wasted my time bringing my vehicle up there. I called the police to try to get a hold of the owner and they also got no answer. I tried everything I could to get a hold of Brad I search the internet for any information. I called all the numbers on the website and got no answer. I sent an email no response. I had to take 4lyfts over the next couple days to get around. I had to borrow money to do that because Brads employees kept my car and didn't inform me they would be leaving it there over the next three and a half days. I waited to the next day to call and I took another Lyft to the shop and it's still closed. There was no Information given that the shop was going to be closed Monday or Tuesday before Christmas. Obviously the employees showed up Monday to work. The holiday passes and I try calling the shop again on December 26, 2024 at 9:22am. No answer. So I end up going back to the website and calling every number on the website. There are three numbers on the website and I noticed something about one of the numbers that Brad's voice was at the end of the voicemail and when I call it the second time I noticed a different ring pattern. It would ring briefly and then go to voicemail or ring along and then go to voicemail so I realized that I was being declined so I continue to call because I want my car at this point. I'm very livid at the entire situation because I had not expected this behavior from this owner. This was very irresponsible behavior to say that this is a professional business. How do you take someone's car and not let them know that you're closing the shop early and not doing work on it. I don't care what holiday is coming up that's not how you treat people and that's not how you do business. Everybody has a story. Everybody has stuff going on. You do not just inconvenience people even more because you feel like it or because it's a holiday and you don't give your word if you cannot live up to your word. Originally thought Brad was a decent human being, but he's just a fake he pretends to be a good guy, but he's really not. I called the number that's 3136706314 about 10 more times within a two minute period Brad kept declining my phone calls and finally he answers and he answers aggressively saying who is this I told him it was me and that he had my car and he gets an attitude with me right away tells me that I'm calling him too much and I'm really not in a mood to care because you have my vehicle you doing me dirty he tells me it's his birthday. I don't care that it's his birthday because he did not care about inconveniencing me this is about business has nothing to do with your personal anything. He tells me that he's gonna call me back in five minutes aggressively and not to call him but he'll call me. Part 1 I wish I could rate this whole place a no star rating because they deserve nothing. The owner is a horrible person to nice people and after taking my vehicle to another shop come to find out I have to get my rear brakes done again after only having them done by Brads shop in November 10, 2024 and it's December 27, 2024. There's so much I want to say about my experience here. Half the staff doesn't speak English for one so there's already a language barrier every time I come to this shop. The shop is supposed to open at 8am but no one begins to arrive til maybe 9-9:30/10am. So I'm normally waiting an hour minimum when I get there just waiting for Brad to get there because he's the only one that handles my car and paperwork. Up until December 26 I had never seen Brad mistreat me. I spoke with Brad on Saturday December 21st at 4:12pm I called to ask if it was OK to bring my car in on Monday December 23, 2024 to get the work done that we had previously discussed. He said it was OK to bring it in and that he was gonna order the parts that day so that the parts will be available when My Car got there on Monday and he proceeded to send me a work order or receipt whatever you wanna call it for the work he was gonna be doing on my car with the price at 4:16pm. In my mind, I'm thinking this is a blessing in disguise because I've been having issues with my vehicle and he gave me a really good price for getting the work done and the shop is down the street from me. I needed quite a bit of work done in the front of my vehicle this is my third time using their service and it is the last time I will ever go to that shop again. Honestly, I hope it closes. These people are definitely not good people to do business with and I learned that yesterday after having two different hostile conversations with Brad, who is the owner/boss. So Monday approaches I wait til 9am to show up and I know they're not gonna be there when they say they're gonna open which I genuinely not too bothered by because it's early already but if you're gonna put a time that you're gonna be at your shop on your website or on Google maps you should actually be there at that time. So I'm sitting in my car in the parking lot of the shop for over an hour waiting for Brad I see his first employee arrive somewhere closer to 930 almost 10 o'clock right this is the second time me and this employee have met around this time, waiting for Brad to show up at the shop can you speak Spanish so he's using the translator to communicate to me That Brad and be there soon. After 10 o'clock, I'm still waiting for Brad. His employee speak Spanish at least the ones I've dealt with and not one but two of them kept telling me I should leave the car and go home and that Brad will be there soon. Brad was not there soon. I don't think Brad showed up at all that day, but I didn't trust my gut and I let them give me a ride home which is only down the street and I gave them my car because they kept telling me, Brad will be there soon. Even when his employee was dropping me off he was on the phone with Brad. I normally only leave my car with Brad, but normally when they say he's coming soon, he normally shows up not too long after but this time was different. Brad is the worst car mechanic that there is and is not worth the money or time that you trust him with. Let me just tell you how horrible this man is. After trusting him for years on our vehicles, all of a sudden Brads demeanor changed. He became very hostile within this past year, speaking very aggressively, hanging up when asking questions on the status of our vehicles, yelling at us and blaming us for taking it into him. He told us his whole life story of what he was going through, with specific details, unprofessional in my opinion. Every single time we called he didn't have an update and finally when we were done dealing with his crap and wanted to pick up our vehicles, they were worse off than when we brought them to him. He is an absolute crook. He actually took the batteries, new, and replaced them with old dead batteries. The reason we know he took them is because just last January we purchased 2 new batteries, after installing them he wired the covers shut, however after picking up our vehicles, we noticed the cover was unwired and two old batteries we reinstalled. The thing is, when we took our cars in the batteries were not the issue! We took them in for a completely different reason! So he took our good batteries, used them for someone else's vehicle and replaced ours with dead ones. It was figured out after trying to start our cars, batteries being dead and having to be jumped on several occasions. STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM BRAD! His business is closing anyway, but until they close don't take your vehicle there! You will be scammed and you'll get your car back broke down. I should report him to the better business bureau but he already dug his own grave and is going out of business. I'm a strong believer in "You reap what you sow", and after being a crook he's losing his business which he completely deserves. Long story short, STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN! i took my car to Melvindale Motor and the mechanics that worked on my car didn't fix my stalling problem. make a long story short I ended up having to go to court and sue Brad of Melvindale Motor for a job Brad assured me he could fix. He told me he fixed my stalling issue but did not Brad ended up settling with me through the courts. I only got some of my money back. please think before letting this company work on your car. they did horrible business with me. they didnt perform the job as promised then tried to recharge me. beware read more

These guys really know what they are doing. I'm her working from Texas & took my 06 BMW 325I for an oil pan gasket and they where also able to identify that I had a bad crank seal and advised me of the other issues and I had them take care of it. I came here bc I noticed my tailpipe disconnected from my muffler..I was driving home it was a quick stop. This man talked to me as if I could trust him..talked about himself a lot. Should have known RED FLAG bc anyone whose confident in their work doesn't need to boost about them self the way he did. He ordered a whole new muffler, stating that if he don't need it he can send it back but only replaced my tailpipe and then charged me 180$ stating the part cost over 100 at o Reilly's. In which then I should of got a receipt for a warranty on the part..but he only used a part of the part. Then added an oil change in the price when he only put 2 qts of oil in my car..nothing was ever changed. Then had the nerve to tell me to come back to pay..I had to get my son from school and had a few mins to spare so I offered to pay then and he said he didn't make up a bill. I came back an hour later and he was nowhere in sight but had a bill for 180$ with little notes all over it. He had my car for 2 hours..completely ripped me off probably bc I'm a woman but I'm far from dumb! I wouldn't recommend this place to someone I hated! How is everyone's day I had to reach out to everyone I have a 07 expedition and it had costly multiple problems. But lucky me one of my close friends told me about a Machanic shop that he praised a lot I won't lie I procrastinated on getting the repairs done because I did my research and it was very costly. Sorry for the long review but to sum it up. They really toke care of me like I was family,excellent service,excellent and fair prices, and I had the truck back for a week now and they still check to see how everything is going with my truck which 200,000 miles on it and it runs brand new I can't name everyone but big thanks to Brad and his staff. read more
