The infrastructure is worn but is in okay shape. What it needs is some health and safety enforcement: the glass to stop being dropped by visitors, dogs to be leashed by visitors, and the homeless to be kept from living on the hillside. I just started to explore a trail and turned around not wanting to walk past a homeless "camper."

There's also a kitchen, private bathrooms and the yard is included in your rental. The place is huge!! It has a dance floor and plenty of lighting. We used it to throw our son's 1st birthday party. The tables were a little used but put a table cloth cover, it's all good! Chairs were fine. Kitchen had a fridge and microwave and even dish washing soap. The supply room had paper towels for the bathrooms and supplies. Weekend rental is an extra $$ compared to weekdays. They do give you an extra hour for clean up. We rented from 11-3 (4pm with free extra hour for clean up) and the cost was around $450ish. Pretty good for indoor space! One thing is the front door is not open and looks closed. Many of our caterers could not find this place. No clear signage to go to the parking lot for entrance.

It's really for small doggies, 'cause it's not really big enough for big dogs to run. But for the little critters, it's perfect. It's located on Dogwood, how cute is that. The developers did good. There's a black wrought iron fence that surrounds a small grassy space, two benches inside for people to sit on, a big beautiful tree, and you can let your little dogs run free. Joey and his little buddy ran around and around, and inspected every inch of the property, while Les and I sat and gabbed. It was very quiet, with nobody else around. On weekends, this place is probably hopping. What a nice find. P.S. The map that pulls up isn't right. If you go east on Town Garden Rd up into Bressi Ranch, you turn right on Alverton and left on Dogwood and the park will be on your right.

Otherwise very quiet park, perfect for a picnic on the grass under the shade of a tree, for lack of picnic tables. I could not find one not could I see a restroom. Those are must for a 5 star park. What is remarkable are those horses sculptures and also a cool 'person' metal thing that moves the hands like welcoming people to visit. I think this park must be very good for the neighbors of the apartment complex just right next to it. Everything looks modern and pretty new.

This Creekside Park has a lot of photos on the Google Maps Website. This Creekside Park is located on the Vista Village Drive Area. There is this large Apartment Complex located right behind this Creekside Park. Apartment I drove over to this Creekside Park with my car. To view these photos of this Creekside Park do a Google Search because this Creekside Park has a lot of photos of their park on Google Maps.com website. It's a very pretty park and there are fun things to do there. There are some long walkways that have a cement walking paths and there is green grass in the back. There is also a lake that has a lot of ducks swimming in this lake. I walked down to the bottom part of this Creekside Park and then I sat on the grass. I saw two ducks walk up to me , one was a pretty mallard (male) duck and the other duck was a brown tweed color (female) duck. These 2 ducks were a couple because I saw both of these cute ducks were sunbathing on this large rock together. These two ducks were looking for me to feed them bread. I heard these ducks are fed bread by the people who visit this Creekside Park. I sat in the grassy area then I watched this duck family I saw a group of ducks huddled together when they are in this lake swimming it is cute. Next time I will bring some old bread slices to feed these ducks with. At the very top of this Creekside Park in Vista Village Center. Their are 3 statues of horses that is a brown color. These horse statues is so cool and it represents this Creekside Park. Next time I will make sure I charge my Apple IPhone XR at home enough so my battery won't be dead, I can take a lot of photos of this Creekside Park. If you enjoy walking on trails and you own a dog, I recommend walking your dog on a leash on the walkways because the scenery at this Creekside Park is very beautiful and I had a good time just sitting down on the grassy area nearby the lake. Just be careful when you are walking towards these huge rocks I don't know why these large rocks are placed near by this lake. But I was walking on these rocks on Sunday, May 28, 2023 and these boots I was wearing was making my footing kind of slippery. There is no sign that tells their visitors to be careful when you walk on these large rocks. There should be a Sign nailed up that warns people to not walk on these large rocks. Or it would be nice to have a big sign posted up that tells people to DON'T WALK ON THESE LARGE ROCKS, DUE TO SAFETY REASONS. These Huge Rocks they look like Rocks from the Beach are placed inside the concrete this when I was trying to leave this Creekside Park to walk back to my car in the parking lot. There is only one way to exit out of this park and I had to walk up 2 flights of stairs with the railing to leave this Creekside Park to go back to my car in the parking lot and I wanted to drive back to my home. This is a really beautiful Creekside Park that is nearby the Frazier Farmers Market in the Vista Village Center Drive that has a Strip Mall with all these different Restaurants, Market, Starbuck's Coffee Shop and this Bigbee's Pub and Brewery. I also walked by Crunch Fitness Center that is located right next door to Frazier Farmers Market. I highly recommend this Creekside Park.

Had to go see a Dr. in Escondido this morning and happened upon this cute neighborhood park…read more Now I have to applaud the city of Escondido for fixing up a part of their downtown and making it more user-friendly. According to the city website, "funded by a $945,000 Smart Growth grant from SANDAG, the City has turned Maple Street, between Grand Avenue and Valley Parkway, into an interesting, urban pedestrian plaza. The street has been reconstructed as a "festival street", with a single, one-way lane from south to north with no on-street parking. What makes the festival street different is the absence of curbs defining the traveled way for autos. It is all constructed at one level and, with the use of removable bollards, can be closed to car traffic for special events making the entire block a people place." This is a great concept and certainly adds some warmth and people-friendliness to the downtown area. I loved the decorative paver blocks and the large Oak tree in the center of the project. Kids were playing around the interactive water feature, i.e. splashing water jets. I bet it looks pretty here at night as the trees here are strung with colored LED lighting. Two large signs with the Plaza's name bookend the quaint block. Escondido is often not the most refined of places and is actually not where I personally care to go. But big props to the city for coming up with the great Maple Street Plaza.

Maybe the key to that was ease of use. Parking was easy. & not a lot of folks out, so I had the trail mostly to myself. Hardly any cars, maybe 1 max at 7 a.m. Come early while its overcast and not so hot out. Once you park (free parking lot off PASEO ESCUELA and POINTSETTIA LANE), there are (2) ways you can take. It's a total of 2 miles from the car and all the way around of staying ON TRACK, however, I love all the random paths & trails you can take to be adventurous from the main trail. It's so nice. I personally enjoyed the scenary. It was paved for the most part. I loved seeing a little bit of history. We did not go into the historical ranch, as 1) it was too early and 2) they do not allow dogs however, we could go up to the fence, and peak thru. It was so pretty, look at all my pictures. I loved this trail, it was a nice workout for a brisk walk or run. some incline here and there. Great for dogs and really quiet.
