Today I spoke with Melody. I am a Geico customer and had an issue with Geico servicing my homeowners policy and was told that Melody was the supervisor who could aid me. I am currently working on a loan and Geico and the Underwriting company they work with Arrowhead have been gaslighting me and have ultimately made the unsupported decision to terminate my policy based on "non-payment" that was paid and yet was to my understanding refused by Arrowhead, despite my continuing followups and provided records aiming to ensure they would not cancel my policy. Melody is the least professional and rudest agent I have ever encountered who literally decided it was professional and appropriate to have a debate with me, rather than have some empathy and help me. The claim that Geico has "millions of accounts" does not suffice that Geico could not do their due diligence to ensure that my policy was not canceled by Arrowhead, incorrectly. This is not the last Melody or Geico or Arrowhead will hear from me. Someone needs to address this gals professionalism. The most classless rep or "manager" I have ever spoken to. read more

I have renter's insurance with them for at least 5 years. I never dealt with Melody, I guess this is small potatoes for her? I left my previous insurer because they changed our policy without checking with us first and they raised the premium too high. I called State Farm and they gave me a good quote while shopping around. We switched to them and the process wasn't smooth. Some issues at their end. Moving on, things were good till this year's renewal! As a policy, they say longer you stay with them, they lower the premium and that happened. When we got my renewal this year, the premium was way higher. I dealt with James. He told me something like inflation as an excuse. Isn't that always the case? I looked at the policy and they raised the value of our property without asking, of course! I mentioned it to him, he switched it back, still higher. They finally had to lower the property value to maintain my premium. Very unhappy with them! I feel like this isn't the year to raise premiums! I'm sure they lost money this year, but it's not my fault! Don't raise premiums to existing clients you still have around because you risk to lose them. I'll look around, shop again. I don't appreciate what they did. Are we in this together? Doesn't seem like it! read more

Don't get me wrong. I mean when you believe that your services and company has really a lot of competitive things to offer, people would just really come to you. Anyway, Christian was fast to email my quote. And Melody was also kind enough to make sure everything is being taken care of. They did not only deliver the requirements that I needed but they also offered some other things that is necessary. I've always thought that the quotes would be higher than my old one but it's not. Aside from the lower quote, there are also some additional details that he included and still the result is lower than my old one. Even after finishing up the transaction with them, they always have somebody 24/7 to assist you with their needs. And if that 24/7 customer service cannot take care of your need, there's this one lovely lady Merly at the main office who's always ready to assist you with all your needs right away. When I moved out to LA, I had JUST learned how to drive, so I knew my insurance rates would be through the roof. I joined State Farm and they were able to give me several discounts including one where I report my odometer every 6 months to reduce my monthly payments. I also have multi-line discount with life insurance that reduced my payments and gave my life insurance for free. With State Farm, I was paying less than my friends who have been driving since they were 16. Now, I've been a customer for almost 3 years and have the State Farm loyalty discount and the good driver discount. My payments are lower than ever, even though I just added rental insurance! Here are a few of the issues we experienced at this office: - My wife and I were ignored multiple times after requesting help via email. - The agent was extremely late to a scheduled in person meeting we had set up. - We discovered that all discounts available were not being applied to our account, resulting in overcharges. I've been a State Farm customer for 15+ years. I'm dedicated and I'm a nomad so I've been with 4 different State Farm agents in 4 different states. Melody's office was #5. I've always been really lucky with amazing offices and help from State Farm. I stick with what I know and who has been awesome and in all prior cases, that has been State Farm. But given the one star on this one, you can TOTALLY see what's coming, can't you? Yup. Sorry, it totally gives away the ending. Now I say the obligatory, but in this case very true..."why oh why doesn't Yelp have a ZERO STAR option?" I'll keep this short (I'm so over this office): end result of the past five months of "FUN" with this office was that I requested a new agent via State Farm corporate and made an official complaint with the head office. It took a good 30 minutes out of my day to do this and it's one the last things I'd enjoy doing. Unorganized, mistake-prone, absolutely lacking in knowledge, lacking in common sense, lack of communication within the office staff, poor follow up and the inability to manage my very simple SIMPLE policies ...as the prior other four offices did WITHOUT any issues, complaints or peeps from me...that sums it up. My experience with this office was so bad that it is only based on my prior GREAT experiences with State Farm that I'm sticking with State Farm overall. I don't know the reviewer Spencer L, but I echo his review and sentiment: "I have been a State Farm customer for years. They are rightfully known for their fantastic customer service. Four Stars, not anymore. After years of service I was forced to change agents. Here is why. First, Melody's staff never answers the phone nor do they respond to emails. (I did both for two weeks straight with no response). Second, when they do they are difficult to work with. Example, my 86 year old mother has had repeated calls ignored, and when the staff does answer, they are impatient and unhelpful. I was asked to make a good review before and that should have spoken volumes. Customer service is no longer the rule for this office, not unless it suits the bottom line, which apparently is to get good reviews on Yelp only. I came to them 2 years ago after moving across the country and going through the whole mess of moving and all the fun things that come with that - they walked me through the whole process, explained every option available and made sure I understood exactly what I was getting down to the nickel! As a fairly new driver and someone on a very tight budget, they worked with me to make sure I was getting the best possible deal.
