They work really hard to put on two recitals each year and also the summer shows. Honestly, this has been my daughter's second home at times and we are so grateful to the staff. We are going to miss coming here when she graduates. Now they just opened their Dance Studio conveniently located in Litchfield Park across from the Post Office. The employees have always been friendly. The classes are fantastic. The prices are somewhat reasonable ($45 a month for 1 class a week + $15 reg fee). Sign up at any time. Checks ONLY, no cc payments. The waiting room is about the size of a child's bedroom, there are French Doors to view your kid practicing in the dance studio...and this makes it quite crowded when there are way MORE adults in the waiting room than kids in the dance class. Why so crowded? Are people bringing extra FAMILY members and a few bored neighbors too? Of course, some folks are oblivious to others in the waiting room and just park a chair right in front of the glass French doors, blocking the view for anyone else. There must be some sort of Fire Marshall law about HOW many people are permitted in this small space and blocking the door with chairs???? Nonetheless, you're better off signing up for their Dance Classes with the city instead, it was a bit little cheaper, not as crowded and the waiting area was NEVER filled with crowds of unnecessary people.

The positive is this; They are very good teachers who make the students go above and beyond their potential. With that said here are the negatives; It's definitely a money thing here. If a student teaches a class, they get no discount in their tuition. You have to teach for 2 years to get paid. So the school gets free teachers while they collect tuition from both the student teachers and students. It is my understanding now that when you buy tickets to a recital you will pay a higher price for the better seats, unbelievable! When they went to California to a World Competition tryouts, the owner was posting Facebook pictures on the beach while the kids were training. In that same trip the costumes that were picked for them looked more like pajamas than an outfit to make them stand out and look professional. And, you don't dare miss a practice or you may find yourself out of a skit. Bottom line for me is while they do a great job teaching it's become all about money. Put the students FIRST and the money will follow.

Thankfully it didn't affect our stay. We got socks which are so much cuter and better then the other kids gym places. The bathrooms are super clean. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and there was only a few other families but it felt like we were the only ones. It took about 20 minutes to get pizza and drinks once we arrived and it was super yummy! The slides are for everyone! Adults too! You won't be bored. I would love to add how clean the place is and friendly the staff is. The place was cleaned and didn't smell either. My kids have been talking non stop about when they get to go back. Bonus points because it's close to our house.
