Kimberly and Barb, her assistant, were absolutely the most dedicated real estate professionals I've ever known, AND we've moved 7 times, so I know! My husband and I were moving across country this time, so there was a lot involved in attention, timing, negotiating, and yes, hand-holding. She was knowledgeable, wise, and always had our backs. We immediately had multiple offers and a final price of thousands above listing price. The results spoke for themselves: our beloved home was sold in just 6 days to the best buyer. We will alwyas be gratefulto Kimberly for all she did!

Giving five stars and a glowing review is simply not enough to express how happy we were to work…read morewith The GreenHouse team. As first time home buyers, we had no idea where to start. We were also out of state which made everything that much more difficult. I'm a big Yelp user and relied on the hundreds of other 5-star reviews to look for a real estate company. I was so impressed with Craig and Jesse from the start. The initial call was SO organized, thorough, and personal. Not only did they give us a incredibly detailed step-by-step guide of the buyer's process, but also spent the time to learn more about us as people and what we were looking for in a home. I was surprised my how much time and energy was invested before even signing any contracts with them. After meeting with a few different teams, we chose the GreenHouse Group and 100% stand by our decision! Communication was consistently strong and we were always in contact with someone/the entire team along the way. We worked with Lori & Alexa who also helped us navigate documents and important deadlines. The GreenHouse Group has a well-designed platform to track the home buying process--making it easy to see deadlines and to-dos. We worked with Craig for our Kick-Off Tour. The GHG evaluation system for homes captured everything important to consider when purchasing a home and we learned so much about what to look for when checking out a home. Craig was straight-up, incredibly knowledgable, and clearly looking out for our best interest. He took us to see quite a number of homes that day and even had snacks and waters to keep us going! Unexpectedly, and uncommonly, we found a home from that weekend's trip we wanted to put an offer on. Craig jumped right in and guided us through the 'make-an-offer' process. He worked incredibly hard to negotiate on our behalf and was able to coordinate inspections and video walk-throughs for us when we couldn't be physically present. We were always promptly and transparently well-informed and advised. We never felt pressured or persuaded to make any decisions. Craig and the GHG team presented the facts and gave recommendations based on 20+ years of company experience--always looking out for our best interest. They were 'real' and weren't out to "sell us" on anything. Even during the rent-back process, the team coordinated with the other realtor to work with the sellers on transitions and key dates. It was super fun when Jesse and Lori were already at the house when we arrived to pick up our keys--what a thoughtful surprise! To top it off, they came with a whole container of new home goodies and essentials for us to use while we settled in (and even had some for our dog!) The care box was super useful, especially when we didn't have any of our kitchen items yet! Even after the sale and getting our keys, the GHG team is still there to answer your questions and help you out--including a list of recommended contractors and other services you might need when moving into a new home. I'm sure I am forgetting something here, but needless to say, we 10/10 recommend the GreenHouse Group to anyone looking to buy (or sell!) a home. We have no regrets and could not have asked for a better team. Thank you GHG!

She kept everything organized behind the scenes, was always responsive and helpful, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. I have no doubt that her attention to detail played a big part in helping us close on time. Thank you to Lori, Alexa and Jesse in making this process feel smooth and manageable! Joe fought to make sure our offer stood out, and when you have multiple offers, it can be totally nerve wracking to wait and see if yours was picked. His confidence was contagious and I felt like with his hand holding and advocacy, we truly manifested this dream home to become ours. He helped us put together the most competitive offer, and really stood by us for the duration of escrow once our offer was accepted. Lots of hurdles came up, and every step of the way Joe was texting us ready to help us find solutions. If it weren't for his lightning response times and diligent efforts across the board, a lot of things could have gone south. We are so grateful for the partnership that landed us our forever home. Zandra did reach out when she was notified via my previous 2024 review--sharing my concerns& she did try to help. The issues have still not been resolved/ addressed, so sharing our experience. We Bought a Single Family home in 2024. Robert represented the seller in the home we purchased in San Diego& he did the showing for this home for us. Within 6 months after closing, multiple things were broken that were replaced/remodeled--including side gaps forming on the NEW hardwood floors. We paid WELL OVER selling price because of the new home upgrades done before selling. I reached out to Robert & Robert said he had nothing to do with the owner wanting to upgrade before selling. I got ahold of the seller using closing paperwork and he stated that Robert's people did the work& Robert oversaw ALL home upgrades, including the flooring. The workers haven't responded to seller or us, to fix them & we're left with floors that are cracked throughout the house & found several 1/2 done cheap fixes, things not sealed or installed properly--over the next year. Be careful going with Robert Lopez for any "upgraded" homes.

I contacted Gregg Phillipson for a showing of a home for sale. That went well, so I made an offer,…read morewhich was accepted. Then the fun part began: the home inspection. There were several findings and Gregg used his pool of professionals to come up with reasonable dollar amounts to request from the seller as compensation for needed repairs. With this thorough documentation in hand, the seller agreed to every penny. I then retained Gregg's services for the sale of my old home. With an acceptable offer quickly received, I swapped roles as my buyers submitted a dollar amount request for compensation based on the results of their inspection of my home. Skeptic that I am, I half expected Gregg to just say, "Remember how it went down when you bought? Just pay them what they're asking and be done with it." But no. As we talked, he keyed on my comment that I had employed the same roofing company throughout my years of ownership and he suggested that I have that roofer inspect my home and provide a repair estimate that might well be lower than what the buyers' inspector quoted. Sure enough, that turned out to be the case, allowing me to counter the buyers' request with supporting documentation in hand, saving me money when they agreed. I'm always a little leery when I hear boasts such as "#1 agent in East County," which is what Gregg's signs read. But you get something with Gregg that you don't get with the mega-agencies that advertise all over radio. When you call Gregg, you get Gregg. Evenings, weekends, whenever (though I never tried 3 a.m.). He's quick to respond, even if he doesn't have an answer right then & there. It will come soon. Yes, he has a team that works for him and I had interactions with all of them, but if I ever wanted to speak to the big guy, I could. And service continues even after he's been paid. For example, when Kamps Propane was gullibly convinced by the former owners (or their agent) to bill me for the gas remaining in their tanks at the time of the sale (even though our sales contract explicitly stated otherwise), I contacted Gregg. He wrote out and hand-delivered a check to me that same day to cover the charge, saying he'd work it out with the sellers and their agent later. When I had a question about the effects of the recently passed Prop 19 on my new property tax bill that Gregg couldn't answer, he arranged a free phone consultation for me with his CPA, who was able to explain the new law to me.

Almost 20 years in real estate and I'd heard the name Gregg Phillipson, hadn't met the man. Then over two years ago, I was hired as Broker of his office. We met and I was startled as to how "real" this man was, just a guy. Words to describe Gregg: Honest, Unpretentious, Straightforward, Caring, and Professional. Easy to talk with. We've had numerous conversations over the past couple of years and I began to look back on our talks to answer this question, "What makes a Great REALTOR®?" What separates the Best from all of the rest? Three things: (1.) They are great Communicators. (2.) They fully understand the Contracts, which allows them to out negotiate the uneducated. (3.) They genuinely Care about their Clients. Gregg has these three qualities in abundance. I call them the three C's of success, and began teaching it in my classes, using Gregg as an example. He's one of a kind, and I am proud to have him in our office and in our profession. Thinking about selling, buying, or investing in real estate? You deserve the Best, do yourself a favor and give Gregg a call - you'll be happy you did.

Jefi Moultrie is one of those unique individuals I had the privilege of working with, and who is the epitome of excellence. Our family interviewed multiple realtors before choosing Jefi to represent us in the sale of our home in La Mesa. It had been in our family for over 40 years. We had made multi-generational memories in that home; we were very attached. It took many months (after asking Jefi to represent us) before we were actually ready to "pull the trigger" and sell our beloved home. We needed a realtor who was willing to counsel us through the emotions of putting the house on the market, advise us on the best way to prepare the house, and then hold our hands as we stepped into escrow and the final signatures to pass "our" home to a new family- who hopefully would love and care for it as we did. Jefi was absolutely outstanding. Her professionalism was unmatched throughout the process. She was extremely efficient, organized, and communicated with us (along with her fabulous team) every step of the way. Jefi was savvy to current market trends and the culture of the neighborhood, and she created a perfect strategy for selling our home. In the end, we sold the house for more than what we listed because Jefi KNEW how to sell real estate. I would HIGHLY recommend her if you are considering selling or purchasing a home.
