I can't even begin to tell you how bad of an experience this dentist office was. I went in for a…read moreroutine cleaning and was told they needed to do work on my gums first. Totally fine. They were able to do half of my mouth but could not do the rest that day. Fine. I asked when I could schedule an appointment to finish the work and actually get my teeth cleaned and was told they had no appointments but would call me day of if they had cancellations. I have a job, a child and can't really make that work which I told them. I called back many times to make an appointment and received no support and the receptionist was extremely rude. When I asked to transfer my records to another practice they were completely unresponsive. When I finally got the patient release form, they still never sent my records. Absolutely terrible patient care and experience. Would not recommend to anyone who actually wants or needs to receive dental care.

As a healthcare provider, I have strong opinions on how fellow providers and their staff should treat their patients. I can't say enough about Dr. Merabi and his staff. The office is a warm and friendly environment, billing is easy, honest and straightforward, his staff is top notch, and Dr. Merabi's skills as a dentist are every bit as good as Dr. Davitt 's was, and they're both the best dentists I've ever had. I recommend Dr. Merabi to all my patients who are looking for a good dentist.

I called to ensure my insurance was in-network and my upcoming appointment would be covered (as it switched with the new year) and it was confirmed over the phone. I offered to provide my card number over the phone for an extra confirmation and was told it was not needed, they accepted the insurance and it was in-network. I arrive to my appointment, work was completed then AFTER work is done, the front desk tells me that they don't accept the insurance, it is out of network and they didn't know that until seeing the card (which I provided before heading into the room for my filling) and that my total due TODAY was just under $200. I explained that I specifically called for confirmation ahead of time and they told me there was nothing they could do until they saw the card, and my total balance was due because I was out of network. Without any other choice, I paid the charge and followed up with the office to let them know about my frustrating experience - Jessi was very responsive which is appreciated but not very helpful. I was then told that it was a patient responsibility to also call the insurance company to confirm, which I is totally reasonable, but I didn't think it was necessary since the office had ALREADY confirmed it was accepted, and they never mentioned 'hey you might also want to call insurance to double-check'. Understood the work was completed I paid for it, but this is trickery and bad business practice. Not how you want to be treated as a patient. It would have gone a long way if the office accepted their behavior as not ideal, and made amends to meet in the middle somewhere, but nope just said it was my responsibility. This was the final straw for me. I also had been rescheduled from a 2022 appointment that had been in the books for months and pushed into 2023 since the office was closed, had to ask more than once for follow up on quoted services, office is dingy, communication is poor.
