Dave responded promptly via email, and based on the pics I posted, he gave me an estimate immediately. I accepted the estimate, he came out to see the job (Brentwood to Concord) and after my re-construction he did the drywall work 2 or 3 weeks later. In the interim he was sick for a few days and emailed info with his phone number in case I wanted to reach him. He slipped the job one week. I have found in the past that some small job contractors run across a bigger job and don't show up. Not so here - dave appeared at exactly the time scheduled a week later, and did the work in three days as he described up front. Dave works smoothly, deliberately and precisely. He measures, cuts, and installs sheet rock as though he is building a custom kitchen cabinet. His workmanship is exemplary, he leaves no mess, and sweeps up on leaving for the day. He is punctual - exactly so - and his pricing was substantially below one other quotation I received. A pleasure to work with, this guy is a TEN.

DO NOT: REPEAT: DO NOT hire Rudy Ramirez to do your painting and drywall. We hired him a month ago…read moreto paint the exterior and interior of our house and it has been nothing less than terrible. He simply does not know how to do the work and will destroy your house while "working." I have had to hire a new painter to clean up Rudy's awful work inside and out. Rudy has cost me $1,000s of dollars and three weeks worth of time. To top it all off he said he would finish the outside and simply took off and is now completely ignoring my messages. I was very straight forward and business like in my approach to problems with him and he simply ignored me at every step. Do not hire Rudy Ramirez. He has not been honest and does not do even close to quality work.

I communicated with him what needed to be fixed and he did not fix it. He's ignored my calls and messages to get it fixed and told me about going into retirement. No response and after several days I called again. He responded by text and said he had to take a few personal days. An appointment was set for him to come give us an estimate and he did send that after our first meeting. At that appointment some additional plans were discussed and another appointment set. This time he didn't show up, didn't call and didn't text. I sent two text to him asking if he was coming and no response. We had plans for the day and we were left waiting and wondering. On my third message I told him he had already had two red flags previously by responding several days after I had called and this was the second issue of not showing and that I could not work with undependable and we were done. Then he finally responded and said he got hung up building a swing set! That's very unprofessional. No I would not recommend him, he seems to work when he wants to as some previous reviews on Yelp have had the same issue. In his defense he seems to be a very nice guy, but I wasn't hiring a nice guy.

No one even came close to matching their price. And the integrity of just dealing with Bryan and his brother, was top of the chart. A+ Always quick to answer any questions. He would text us if he was running a few minutes behind, or letting us know time wise where we were. He was so patient, professional and friendly. Bryan and Jayson worked long and hard. I can't stress enough all the labor that went into these 30+ year old cabinets, prepping and painting. My kitchen was well protected and they took extra care to protect the appliances, as well. They were prompt to correct any issues that came up. And the final results speak for themselves. Highly recommend and we will use them again!
