I simply cannot say enough good things about this practice. Due to a lifetime of work related chronic back and neck issues, my saving grace has been chiropractic care. Dr. Mel's is the only place my husband and I will go for many reasons: 1 They have 4 of the most qualified, experienced and intuitive chiropractors and we have been treated by all of them. These doctors look, listen and feel to you and what your body tells them. 2 Every employee treats you with genuine kindness and compassion...and truly wants to be a part of your journey to better health. 3 I have never seen a team of people who work so well together treating each other with respect and helping each other whatever the need may be. Who benefits from this teamwork? You the patient! 4 You have choices... adjustments, laser, traction and massage and they will help you find what works best for your needs...no hardsell no upsell...the choice is always yours. People choose Dr Mel's for many reasons and they are all good ones. They have won Best in the Cape for over 20 years...go see for yourself and you will understand why. read more

Without Dr Mel I would be unable to continue my career as time has taken its toll on my back and joints. The treatment I get there is so specialized to my specific needs that I would be hesitant to let anyone else touch me. The therapeutic massages, along with the chiropractic treatments, keep me mobile and active. This is important to me as I fight off the option for surgery and work with Dr Mels talents. The staff is very knowledgeable and they work together as a good team. Its easy to see and feel the enthusiasm Dr Mel promotes to me and other clients for her professional skills and her business in general. The staff reflects that same amount of positivity as well. This is an amazing practice. Everyone is so friendly and competent. What a great team Dr. Mel has put together. I've been coming to this office for a couple of years. The doctors really listen to what you are saying and truly care about their patients. The message therapy staff is superior. I see Megan, but all of the massage therapists are extremely good at what they do. I recently got orthotics, I'm having a hard time adjusting to them, but office is working with me. I know that if these aren't the correct orthotics for me they will fit me with some that are. You've got to try Dr. Mel's office for any of your wellness needs. You will not be disappointed. Promise. read more

Dr. Mel is an angel on earth. I've struggled with sleep disorders since I was little, which has affected other areas of my life. When I got to Dr. Mel I was permanently exhausted, constantly in pain and extremely tight due to all the stress my body had been carrying. Getting adjusted every few weeks has not only helped me manage/relieve my pain, but has given me the ability to consistently get a good night's sleep, which is something that various medications could never give me. Dr. Mel and her team genuinely care about you and your well-being. I can not recommend them enough! read more

I have had both chiropractic adjustments and massages. I've had adjustments from Dr. Youngs, Dr. Hutchinson and Dr. Lachermeier. They each have different techniques and I've been happy with all of them. I've had many massages; I'm trying all of the massage therapists. As of this time, I've had 4 different massage therapists; all very qualified. Ashley is my favorite, she is my healer. There are not enough words to explain how qualified Ashley is and how she listens and cares!!! The entire staff is caring and professional! I highly recommend Dr. Youngs ! read more

If you are seeking: chiropractic, massage or K-laser (do you know of it?) I have a slight rotator cuff tear in my left shoulder. The K-laser heals by bringing oxygen and eliminating inflammation. I may need more than 1K-laser treatment (5mins) because it's better than a surgical alternative. Thank you. read more
