Dr. Amy is a very special chiropractor. She knows every patient by name and remembers what's going on in their lives from week to week. She's had extra hands-on training from experts that most chiropractors don't get and knows adjustments specific to each patient and each subluxation. I have been using chriopractic medicine for 30 years at least. I have been to ones who claim they can cure everything including cancer. I have had 5 back surgeries, 2 minor, 2 fusions, and my last this year for a spinal cord stimulator. I found Doc Amy about a year ago because of neck pain. As I have stated I have been thru a lot of chrioprators in my days. I found her to be one of the top 3 Ive ever been to. I don't care about bed side manner if they can help me, with her you get both, expert doctoring and bed side manner. A caring professional. I tried the other box chiropractors in the strip mall setting, $49.00 to start, went 6 times and never got the results as 1 trip to Dr.Amy. Dr. Amy has done an amazing job on my spine. I went in having a very bad back and severe pain from an accident in 2005. After a session and X-rays, I was informed how severe it was, and how it can be fixed. I am on a very good program with them, and my discomfort has gone down, I'm able to sit and stand for periods of time without discomfort, and with my progression X-rays I can actually see the results each month. I can only pray that people who need help will go and at least get the consultation so they know how bad the pain is. You'll be surprised by how much she can help. read more

Its really a shame how Amy is conducting her business. Although I don't leave many reviews I felt as though I need to tell people my experience in her office, I promise it will be worth the read. Last Saturday I woke up with such pain in my neck and shoulder I could barely move. Not many offices are open on weekends, but I saw Amy was for only an hour and so I called at 8am sharp. She was kind enough to keep her office open an extra hour for me and not only do X-Rays but give me a general adjustment to help ease some of the pain, and it did! That weekend I felt almost good as new and scheduled an appointment for that Monday to go over my X-Rays and form a treatment plan. I go in on Monday and I was told I have a 15 degree curve in my lower spine and it is putting stress on my reproductive organs which could cause problems in conceiving and bearing children. I also have a -2 curve in my neck and it should be a 45 degree curve. As being newly married and children being a big goal for us, that's all the convincing I needed and obviously my body is in need of some help, so I was planning on committing to a treatment plan to get everything back in shape. After my appointment, I was told she needs to see me again tomorrow night (Tuesday) for "a meeting with her to discuss my case." Word for word what was told to me. I also MUST bring my husband, if he is not available we will reschedule. Naturally that made me a little nervous but wanted to get this going, so I agreed, and we came the following night for our meeting with Amy. Upon arrival, after a few minutes of waiting and under the assumption we would be called back to a room to review my scans and options, our names are called. Instead, we were told to go have a seat in the lobby, where it looked as if a seminar would take place. Hesitantly, we go sit down and now completely unsure as to why we are really here. Then Amy starts speaking, she is telling us along with about four other couples some general information regarding proper chiropractic care. That's fine, I think we could all use some knowledge, but I am frustrated as I feel we were tricked in to joining this seminar. Then it starts to get very uncomfortable. They literally lock you inside the office. Amy starts using some very EXTREME scare tactics as to why we all need chiropractic care. She shows us X-Rays of a toddler with a curve in his spine, and that if he doesn't get this fixed his future will be him wetting the bed at 9, with no friends because he can't have sleep overs and wet the bed. Then he will be 39 and married and now have erectile disfunction and his wife will think he is cheating on her and they will get divorced. Then he will be old, and doctors will tell him its normal to not walk straight and his life will be miserable and alone. All because he didn't get adjusted as a child. She also mentioned that you should have your baby adjusted within days of being born, otherwise they run the risk of dying for whatever extreme reason she gave, and most marriages will not survive the death of a child, so again divorce will be almost inevitable. Then, she went in to why she's tired of patients yelling at them for not accepting most insurances. I may have set the record for biggest eye roll in this moment, because both Saturday and Monday I asked if they accepted our insurance and both times she gave a reason why she couldn't tell me, she has no knowledge on insurance, but we would find out during our meeting Tuesday. Trap set. So, then we go in to a 20 minute rant on Health Insurance scams and how you should just pay cash for your appointments because it will equate to less than paying insurance. Lastly, she tells us her stipulations on taking new patients. One, you must be nice to them. Two, you must keep your appointments and follow through with your home workouts, both solid rules. But three, she MUST see your family members as well. She used a couple there as an example, saying, Bob, if I start treating you and your wife doesn't like or believe in Chiropractors, it will cause a fight each week between the two of you! And if you two start fighting you will be either less likely to come see me or fight so much that you two get a divorce. So, if any of you want me to go over your individual cases tonight, I must X-Ray your spouse and then discuss treatment plans. This was an hour long and I was just speechless by the end. She is scaring people in to using her services and frankly giving other chiropractors who conduct business the right way a bad rap. She is shoving her thoughts and studies down your throat and not allowing you to have your own beliefs and opinions. The times she threatened either you dying or getting a divorce is unreal.
