A lot needs to be said about this shop / park. This park was well built and by Team Pain, a very reputable company. However, there is nothing here of substance. The reason I'm saying to avoid this shop/park is due to the fact that its not skater owned, they have church sessions, the park is very small, helmets are mandatory, and there is no community or skate culture here. The flow of the park makes it hard to take turns and many little kids will get in your way. Which is normal for a skatepark but here its a bit worse. This park should be for kids who do not wish to pursue skateboarding seriously and parents who just want to let them play. Anyone who wants to have their kids learn something important should check out trashmore (which is free) and shop at Cardinal in Virginia Beach. read more

I went to this park and wasnt allowed to skate because they were having a devotional period to worship the lord. The skatepark is super cramped too, which combined with the large group of kids makes getting a turn nearly impossible. Helmets are mandatory even if youre over 18 which kinda kills it right there. This park is not run by skateboarders so its kinda off a bit when it comes to the culture. Theres a lot about it they just don't get. I do not recommend coming here to shop or skate. Okay, first of all Mekos is a SKATE park NOT a playground. There are a lot of people flying around including myself so if you want to take your kids here make sure it is not crowded this place is small I was there for 9 hours and saw around 20 kids under 10 getting in the older kids ways I don't want this to be rude but we pay too and just want to ride to but they are always coming out of no where. Kids get in my way so I try to swerve around but then there is another one right there and I am just keep hurting myself. read more

It's definitely one of the best parks in the 757. All obstacles here are smooth but definitely slippery. Although all the other indoor skateparks I've been to are also slippery. The people here are very nice and they helped me learn tricks. Overall one of the best skateparks I've been to compared to any outdoor park. read more

Super great, recently came by here for a quick session and it was definitely worth it! The employees were super knowledgeable and friendly, and the park itself is great. Everyone there seemed really well mannered and respectful to each other. They have a great shop and and employees, what else could you ask for? read more
