There is a very good reason this Walgreens has the lowest review. They are totally inept. I have…read moredone business with them for years, and I regret ever having done so. I have put up with so much of their incompetence that I should have stopped using them years ago. They have taken my loyalty granted. When a prescription needs to be refilled by a certain date, and it is sent in from my doctor a week in advance, instead of ensuring that they will have enough when it needs to be filled, they wait until the day it needs to be filled, then look to see if they have enough. I have waited many times a week without being able to get my medication, and they could care less. Not only that, but they lie and use the excuse that they have to have the insurance "billed first," whatever that means. i have foolishly used Walgreens as my pharmacy for years. I have always had insurance coverage. There's no excuse for this. It's not even a truthful reason. They know my insurance covers it all the time. It makes no sense, because for those without insurance, who pay all out-of-pocket, what excuse do they give them. Again, my insurance has always covered all medications, and never without a hitch. There's no reason I, or any other customer, should have to wait until the medication is billed prior to getting it ready. I have seldom been able to get any of my medication on time. I have waited many times at least a week before I can get it. It messes up my insides. They are very aloof to that. They could care less if the customer has to go without. and when they're out, they say that it will be in within the next few days. and it never is. That's why I question whether they even put in orders every day.. They are aloof as the patient's health. No apologies, no understanding; but, hey, that's just the way it is, attitude. Another one of their excuses is that, hey, this medication is hard to get. It might be hard to get, but that's poor planning, or no planning whatsoever. They just don't care.. I shall never, ever have any of my medication filled by this pharmacy again. They don't deserve one star; it has caused me more harm physically and mentally than anything that I can imagine. And their attitude is, we don't care, you need us we don't need you. And this attitude comes from the pharmacist, not their other employees. This is the type of behavior you would expect from a state run pharmacy such as in the Soviet Union. Why they don't understand that a customer can go someplace else, such as I have regretfully done business with them for years, is mind-boggling. They need to go out of business before they wreck too many other's health.

Current delay caused script to expire, so have to start over. Switching pharmacies.

Yesterday Sunday, May 20, 2018 I was in your Sparta Michigan store to buy an item I saw in the…read moreSunday paper that included a rebate. I was met with a rather rude cashier, I felt I was an inconvenience from the time I got to the cashier area to the time I left she was very PERT with me. She could not find in the ad the item I was looking for Even though I tried to assure her that I just saw in today's paper and it was indeed in the Ad and she didn't seem to be very accommodating with trying to find it or her manager finding it in the ad and I felt again an inconvenience to them.but eventually it was found. The manager also didn't seem to be very helpful. The cashier seem to want to rush me through when the Item could not be found initially in the ad and then after I purchase the item seem to want to rush me through . I felt very uncomfortable to say the least regarding my experience there. there is also a slight problem when the cashier didn't feel that the rebate was coming through the printer, machine all she needed to be a patient for a couple seconds and allow the process to happen which it did. Lastly the cashier was not very Helpful when I asked about the product when I first arrived at the store stating that I didn't want to make a trip back to the cooler and grab the item only to get up to the register to find out that I grab the wrong item or wasn't the correct product and I wanted to avoid that but she didn't seem to be very helpful and understanding of me wanting to avoid that. Lastly I tried to call the one 800 phone number today and talk with in a guy name Sean but he is well seemed less than patient and I asked to speak to another representative it was put on hold for quite a while and when I called back my call never went through. When I initially called the one 800 number on the phone the introduction said "thank you for calling Rite Aid pharmacy." I was not trying to call the pharmacy for the one 800 number I was trying to get a hold of Rite Aid not the pharmacy just thought you should know that maybe that verbiage needs to be changed because it leads one to believe that he will be connecting to the pharmacy which was not what I was trying to do. Tried To reach out on their website for the chat option and did try to do three times and it never allowed me to do the chat option which I thought would be a good way to express my disappointment with the most recent experience at Rite Aid in Sparta yesterday
