In addition to being a highly knowledgeable office, the staff here is what completely sets this place apart from the rest! Can I just tell you that. I have tried on 925,600 pairs of glasses without putting a dent in the options it seems - it's like their shelves are made of whatever Mary Poppins used for her bag - and received kind, authentic and specific feedback about each option! I keep checking because I've done this a couple of times, and everyone is always so happy to share their thoughts and help me narrow my options down. You can tell that this isn't just a place to work, it's truly a place where they all want to be and are always happy to help. On top of all that, I love the humor of this place! If you are looking for a stuffy, boring "is this better 1, or 2" this place is still who you should choose, but you might not like the jovial nature of the office. Speaking of the dreaded choice between 1 and 2, 2 or 3, etc (IYKYK) they do it in a way that makes it easy to choose and also I didn't need to get the puff in my eye which I hate, so all around 10/10!!!!!

They care. I recently poked my eye with a sharp, hard, dead flower stem and they were able to get me in that day. Doctor was super calm and gentle when pulling the shard out of my eye, and his wife Mary was by my side on standby to offer support. Doc and all the staff are such wonderful people!! Auburn Optical is absolutely the only place to go for your eye care needs!

I almost hesitate in writing this because I know that means that more people will know about this office but they really are great so I knew I needed to share! Katie was the provider that helped me with 2 of my children on separate days. She was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to get us in quickly, which we appreciated because our daughter ended up having strep . I'm glad we were able to find a new pediatrician that was accepting new patients!

The film on the left lens of my glasses was unfortunately breaking down and making vision blurry in…read morethat eye. I hadn't had my eyes checked in a couple years so I decided to get that taken care of in the same visit. Dr. Erickson was very thorough examining my eyes and he was friendly as well. I was hoping that I could get just the film on my glasses replaced instead of the whole lens, but sadly my vision worsened a little and I had to get brand new lenses anyway. Apparently there is a $40 charge to replace lenses if you bring your own frames, but my insurance completely covered most of the frames offered here. There is a really nice variety of both practical and designer looks. They are very patient with you and want you to try everything to make sure you find something you like. The employees here are polite and want to make you feel comfortable. Even in the waiting room, hot drinks and cookies are offered. You can tell they try to go the extra mile for you. I am very happy with my new glasses and I won't hesitate to come back here.
