My daughter (18) waited over 40 minutes while Wendy dismissed her insurance, made a joke about "going home to take a nap," and then admitted the prescription was never even ordered. When we returned, she ignored us, embarrassed us in front of other customers, and loudly argued instead of helping. Even worse, she shouted another customer's prescriptions across the pharmacy--a serious HIPAA violation. We've moved everything to the N Saginaw Walgreens, where staff are respectful and professional. Save yourself the frustration and go there instead.

SAGINAW RD. in Midland MI. On numerous occassions I have observed inconsiderate, rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful behavior towards the people there to pick up prescriptions from the pharmacy staff. I observed lack of patience with an elderly person that did not understand why their prescription wasnt covered by insurance and rather than trying to explain or look into it the elderly person was told to call their insurance company. Another elderly man was told his prescription would not be ready for 4 days and he was out today and need to refill it today. He was told no, no offer was given to refill it later in the day until his wife said they would just go to Meijers to have it filled. The wife asked to please cancel the refills for his meds and the pharmacy staff, after they left, proceeded to cancel every single one of the prescriptions, and delete them all, instead of helping the next person in line. I undertand they are overwhelmed with the amount of people that they now have to serve, but this was not our choice, and the need for meds to be filled in a timely manner, offers to get answers about copays, insurance, etc. should be an expectation of the services provided considering the amount of money spent on prescriptions and the amount of time people are spending in a line just to get their meds. If you have an elderly person, go with them, and advocate for better treatment.

My wife is having panic attacks from a steroid to the point of not being able to drive/work. Doctor sent in this prescription and said it should help and the pharmacy is dictating when they will have it ready and then changing their minds when she arrives to pick it up.
