Every time I try to fix something, I make it worse. Was trying to program a Homelink clicker in my new car and managed to disable our garage door. Spencer and his team responded in an under an hour to my call. They showed me what had messed up, fixed it, lubricated the door and we out under an hour. I believe the tech's name was Matt - he had to call in Spencer because of his extensive experience. But they made really quick work of it and we were back in business. I called about a quote for a possible garage door spring, he is in Saint George and I am in Cedar but he has great reviews. I know why great communication and honesty. He also called me back within the hour. He informed me he would be glad to help but with a small job he would have to charge (who wouldn't with inflation and gas prices) and that I should check around here first. At Mehr I left a voicemail, Spenser called me back within a few minutes and gave me a 2-hr appointment window for the same day. Matt was our garage door technician! He worked quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. He explained the process of changing the springs while he worked. He advised me on the impact of selecting the correct springs for my door since I had added insulation to the door after it had been installed, which added weight and may have shortened the life of my springs. Matt finished the job, lubricated the tracks, cleaned up and gave me the invoice for his work! I dropped in to Mehr Garage Doors on Sunset Drive, (easy to find and get in/out) to pay the bill and the office manager was delightful and professional. I have been having problems with my garage door opener since I had Dish installed, and I noticed this business from the Del Taco drive-thru. I have since dropped in twice only to find a locked business with a yapping dog at the door, and a note asking to call. I'm sorry, but you're either in business or you're not. And if it's more important to bring your dog to work than have an open door for business, I'm guessing you must have enough business to keep you afloat and I can just move on. read more

Way overpriced. I don't like writing bad reviews but my wife who dealt with them is not happy. When she spoke with them she was quoted $179.00 which sounded more than fair. We received the bill and it said $465.00, so twice we asked for an itemized bill. this is what we received - "The invoice is attached. The $465.00 is for a new opener for the garage door. There was no service or installation fee. " For reference, the going market rate for the door opener is $179 as they quoted my wife. I hope this helps, always get quotes in writing. On the bright side the door is working good. read more
