Every time I try to fix something, I make it worse. Was trying to program a Homelink clicker in my new car and managed to disable our garage door. Spencer and his team responded in an under an hour to my call. They showed me what had messed up, fixed it, lubricated the door and we out under an hour. I believe the tech's name was Matt - he had to call in Spencer because of his extensive experience. But they made really quick work of it and we were back in business. I have used Mehr's three times over the years and have always been blown away by the speed in showing up, their ability to fix the issue quickly and having nothing but positive and enthusiastic people. read more

My door wasn't working well. I called just after closing time and left a message. Spencer called back first thing the next morning and scheduled me for the next day (he offered a same day appointment but I was busy). Trent came out exactly when scheduled and knew immediately the problem. He gave me multiple options. We chose one and he had the repair done in short order. It works perfectly now. read more

Mehr's is a fantastic company to do business with, and Spencer is super responsive and knowledgeable! He installed three new openers for our garage, and then, months later, came out the same day as I mentioned to him that one of the remotes was having issues. In 10 Minutes he had it fixed and good as new! I can't think of another business that gives you that level of quality and responsiveness!! read more

I had a spring break on my garage door. Called and left a message and Spencer got back to me the next day. The day I called was a holiday so no surprise there. Told Spencer the problem and he quoted me a price over the phone. I said great when can you fix it. 2 hours later my door was fix for the price quoted over the phone. I would recommend Mehr's Thanks again!!! read more

I called about a quote for a possible garage door spring, he is in Saint George and I am in Cedar but he has great reviews. I know why great communication and honesty. He also called me back within the hour. He informed me he would be glad to help but with a small job he would have to charge (who wouldn't with inflation and gas prices) and that I should check around here first. Again honesty and communication something rare in the world today! read more

We have used Mehr's every time. Today we had Trent come out. He was very polite and did an Outstanding job. Thank You,

This company doesn't understand the value of good communication. Service should include keeping you informed of arrival times and or delays. In today's busy schedules that's a vital component. That implicates a commitment to being the best. read more

Whew...Spence to the rescue again! Thank you! While getting ready to head back to CA, I found that our garage keypad stopped working. Ugh. Spence squeezed me in, and replaced, tested, programmed me in no time. I was able to leave that night and meet the movers on time. Thanks Spence!!!! read more

Had a garage door spring break on me. Called and left a message with Mehr's Garage Door repairs after business hours. Spencer called me back first thing the next morning, worked me into his already busy schedule and had my garage door up and running that very morning. Really appreciated his quick response as my vehicle was trapped in the garage and I had a medical appointment that I needed to keep. Enjoyed working with the man. His service fee was very reasonable. read more

I called other garage door repair companies in St George. They we're too busy to fix our door the same day. At Mehr I left a voicemail, Spenser called me back within a few minutes and gave me a 2-hr appointment window for the same day. Matt was our garage door technician! He worked quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. He explained the process of changing the springs while he worked. He advised me on the impact of selecting the correct springs for my door since I had added insulation to the door after it had been installed, which added weight and may have shortened the life of my springs. Matt finished the job, lubricated the tracks, cleaned up and gave me the invoice for his work! I dropped in to Mehr Garage Doors on Sunset Drive, (easy to find and get in/out) to pay the bill and the office manager was delightful and professional. This should be your first call for ANY garage door needs. You won't regret it! read more

I have been having problems with my garage door opener since I had Dish installed, and I noticed this business from the Del Taco drive-thru. I have since dropped in twice only to find a locked business with a yapping dog at the door, and a note asking to call. I'm sorry, but you're either in business or you're not. And if it's more important to bring your dog to work than have an open door for business, I'm guessing you must have enough business to keep you afloat and I can just move on. read more

Mehr to the rescue. I had the wife call as I was looking to find the grinding noise coming from the opener. She gave the phone and said he could rebuild my opener and could come right over. I was amazed and skeptical. Spence arrived and 30 min later I was back to normal . Thanks to Mehr Garage. read more

Way overpriced. I don't like writing bad reviews but my wife who dealt with them is not happy. When she spoke with them she was quoted $179.00 which sounded more than fair. We received the bill and it said $465.00, so twice we asked for an itemized bill. this is what we received - "The invoice is attached. The $465.00 is for a new opener for the garage door. There was no service or installation fee. " For reference, the going market rate for the door opener is $179 as they quoted my wife. I hope this helps, always get quotes in writing. On the bright side the door is working good. read more
