I went in for a consultation and the staff provided great customer service! Aside from the service, this facility is conveniently located in the heart of Fells Point. My consultation with Dr. Emily was the best experience that I've had of 4 consultations. She was patient, informative, reassuring and provided alternative solutions that no other doctor had provided. I am extremely grateful to have stumbled upon her and her practice. I love and trust this facility so much that I came back the same day to see an aesthetician. Laurie was the sweetest! She performed a microdermabrasion and my face is making significant progress since the appointment 2 days ago. In addition to complimentary "take home" products, she provided her personal contact to communicate with her if I had further questions. Upon leaving, Sam at the front desk provided her personal contact for me to text for further support as well. That should've been my first sign to head for the hills. Anyway, the anesthesiologist came there to sedate me and must not be given me enough. I awakened to the dr and a few other people trying to turn me over because he had apparently dropped me on my hip? One of my hips was SERIOUSLY flattened during the procedure. I looked like I was deformed. One hip was completely flat and the other round. I was in total disbelief and was told I would heal and the fat would settle. Bull----!!! I went to another dr who refused to even touch me. He told me I needed to get more lipo to now fill that area with fat that I was dropped on. Now here is where things got interesting. Dr Shureih agreed I was in shambles due to his bs procedure and agreed to fix the issue but at another charge!!! He saw I was jacked up and instead of graciously fixing the problem and being grateful I wasn't dragging him to court about this deformity, he greedily charged me for another anesthesiologist and a "discounted" rate for additional lipo I would NOT have otherwise needed had he NOT jacked me up in the first place!!!! If that were fair, he could go around messing everyone up with the intentions of making more money to revise HIS mistakes!! I was left with no choice since no other dr would correct his mishap and I was stuck with a deformed hip. Even after his corrective surgery and time to heal, my hips still aren't even from being dropped on that table. Do NOT trust this back alley guy. He has a very low moral compass and is only concerned about making money...oh and more money. Be WISE!! Take your money to a proper surgeon. READ THE REVIEWS!! Check to see if they've been sued for malpractice. This guy has a looong track record of jack ups. Truly wish I'd done my homework. Hope to help someone else.

After spending 20 minutes waiting to be taken back after my appointment time I waited another 20 in the room for Anderson. She spent less than 10 minutes speaking with me. She dismissed all my concerns. Told me my psoriasis would just keep coming back so I could get a topical cream if I really wanted one but really it's just a temporary fix. I was told my hair thinning was just something I'd have to live with, wasn't aware of light technology or much success with any other products. Didn't suggest even getting any lab tests etc...nothing just told me to live with it basically. Then I asked about under eye dark circles and she said they're shadows and no one pays attention to them. Try concealer but otherwise there's no fix. I was in shock. I couldn't honestly believe after waiting two months for an appointment that she dismissed me like that. I'd never recommend her to anyone and am already looking for another as it was a complete waste of my time and a co-pay, so disappointing.

The frustration I had with multiple prescriptions, lubricating drops, heat compresses and two different steroids which resulted in my tear ducts closing. All of this exasperated my eyes. After three times of probing they would not stay open. I went to see Dr. Gandhi who was my savior. He was kind, patient and listened to what I had to say and thoroughly examined my eyes. Dr. Gandhi diagnosed me with blepharitis. He put me on an antibiotic, Omega 3 and one lubricating drop. Two and half weeks later my eyes were back to normal. Please get a second opinion as Dr. Gandhi is the best! Five stars is not enough for him. Please reach out to him. His staff is wonderful.

They have one laser - the Alma diode - and didn't seem to care that the Alma diode laser is not appropriate for black skin. Also, there is no Dermatologist just a "doctor down the hall" affiliated with this center. When I went for a test dose and it hurt like hell! A day later I had 2nd degree burns from the test dose!! During my first and only visit, I asked what I thought were simple questions: what kind of skin care would be appropriate and inappropriate to use before laser treatment, name of a numbing agent they could recommend. All I got were vague responses. They did not seem the least bit knowledgeable about laser treatment. This was very annoying to me and bells started to go off in my head. To make things worse, one staff even recommended that I do my own online search! Well I did and found out all too late that the only appropriate laser for black skin is the YAG. These people seemed to have no clue. Though I did chose to come to this location because it was close to my home, I will say that if you are a woman of color - you should think twice before coming here. There are other reputable medi spas that have far more experience working with black skin and the Alma diode is the WRONG laser for you! My other problem is that you should never expect that if you call the office during business hours that they will actually pick up the phone. I spent one saturday calling for 2 hours straight with no pick-up. The only good thing I can say is that the staff seemed friendly and the other customers that came in seemed satisfied. Update - I was surprised to discover today that Yelp has an interesting practice of filtering reviews with some long winded and convoluted reasoning to justify their practices (smh). Until today, I didn't know others had written poor reviews of this place for months! So if you don't see all the other negative reviews then scroll to the bottom of my review and click FILTERED and type in the captcha code. Update #2 I found a review on Google Reviews for this sham business by someone named Kelly Young and it just goes to show that this business tries very hard to inflate itself. Clearly this silly Kelly Young has not read the Yelp reviews. I seriously doubt this business is in good standing the BBB and as for Groupon continuing to promote their services, well that really reflects poorly on Groupon given all the complaints and requests for refunds. I included this update because if what Kelly Young says is true then apparently the "Doctor (?owner) is a surgeon with 2 private practices and privileges at the best hospitals in Maryland." This is scary indeed because if this is true then I think the State of MD licensing board would be interested to know that one of its licensees is negligent and harming patients. Since that review is on Google Reviews I have to assume it is true but it if anyone knows for sure that it is wrong information then send me and email...Just food for thought.

THE GOOD... -doctor was typically friendly, welcoming and polite -would allow you to email him -called in prescriptions quickly THE BAD... -his office staff is dreadful...unprofessional...made me feel guilty for asking for a sooner appt and not wanting to wait a month! -office staff has zero empathy -office is a bit dumpy -closed on too many business days (very inconvenient hours) There are too many choices when it comes to primary health care. This office acts like they don't need patients so I switched. I'm not waiting a month to get an appt along with pissy attitudes from office staff!
