To the side, they still have the open air area for the summer (used to be crowded) But this wasn't crowded. the service was good, friendly, efficient...I had the steak, my wife the tune carpaccio, followed by a sorbet and Finger Gianduja. A couple of glasses of bubbles, a glass of Cote du Rhone and a Sancerre blanc. Very reasonably priced and good value at £130 inc tip. That makes 2 good steaks in a week in Paris...a rare event! As we were leaving we were given a leaflet advertising their NYE bash...it all looked very familiar...not surprising, as it is now owned by the same people as have the River Cafe a bit further down the Seine - we have had my wife's significant birthday there (good food), we were there for NYE pre Covid (great fun, arrived at 9pm, left at 2:15...slow day after)...we are booked in again for the NYE this year! The staff went above and beyond: they gave him free bottled water and a dessert to take with him. They even generously offered me a fruity drink and a dessert to go as well. I shared John 3:16 with the man through Google Translate, because this verse was the catalyst for these moments of love: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." Because of God's love for me, I was free to love this man. And seeing that act of love inspired the staff to show kindness too, going out of their way for two strangers. Hats off to the staff here for truly going above and beyond!!

My wife and I visited Royal Bombay on our vacation in Paris. We were pretty wiped from a big day…read moreof traversing the city, so we were looking forward to a pleasant dinner, and Royal Bombay did not disappoint. We opened with cheese naan, tandoori chicken, and Bomby soup, followed by our main dishes, Punjabi Lamb and Coconut Chicken. All of the food was delicious and well prepared.
