Staff was very nice and helpful. However it's a bit too pricey for my liking. I needed a quick fix and my nail salon closed early. This was my first time trying them. $35 for a refill is a bit much in my opinion. But nevertheless, they got the job done and was very pleasant read more

While my nails look pretty, they cracked the same day. I went back the next day & it took an hour for her to even see me. The owner proceeded to yell at me because I didn't know which color. I left extremely unhappy & with the wrong color. This was by far the worst service I've ever had. read more

Megan's Nail Bar - Terrible - Nail Salons Near Me - LaPlace, Louisiana

This was a TERRIBLE experience, do no go here if you want anything good. There is a man who does not understand worth of anything and cant follow orders. VERY unprofessional. He was very rough on my pretty little toes and put the wrong thing on me after i CLEARLY said i wanted what i asked for. I even requested someone else and still did not receive that. Would give 0 if i could; would not recommend read more

Soon as I walk in there I was greeted but I came in there for a upper lip wax and soon as I was walking to the back one of the workers started laughing which I didn't pay it no mind. Then the woman that wax me didn't pre or didn't do after of sanitizing my upper wax while waxing it and when I told her she was missing a spot she hurry and waxed it. Meanwhile they are money hungry, rude, and very unprofessional. I WOULDNT GO THERE WAIST OF $10. read more

Horrible service. Just a polish change was $50. My fault for not asking first, but to let other people know.

Honestly I feel scammed. They weren't friendly. They pushed and pulled my hands. My hands sat in acetone for over 45 minutes, without anyone checking on the process. My almond shaped nails all had different shapes. I asked her to correct them over and over. I had tons of acrylic under my nail and when I asked her if she could take it off she rolled her eyes, like I was needy and asking too much. As I was checking out they were mopping the floor around me at the front counter. If you want to do nails and be in the business you should at least have talent of doing nails and Customer Service is a must, they had none. Now I'm at home refiling the nails I paid $55 for! read more

These people lost my business when a customer walked in about an hour before they closed and Kim told them she would only do her nails if she got dip powder, not acrylic. Then proceeded to take other customers walking in after (one got acrylic) I then realized they are just about money and not wanting to make the customer happy. Trying to force customers to get the more expensive dip powder instead of what the customer wants. not even worth it to me. However the guy that massages your legs and feet before your pedicure is omg amazing!! but that's the only good thing about this place and/or people. read more

A friend told me about Megan's Nail Bar and I am so glad she did. LaPlace needed a better place that does powder dip polish. Everyone was super nice. The place is clean, and smells really good. You must get the deluxe pedicure because the foot and calf massage is awesome!! I'm picky when someone shapes my nails and she did an awesome job. They do nail art and also do eye brows. read more

I had a gel manicure completed on Friday by Sunday on almost ever finger the gel was already lifting and peeling. I went in to the shop on Monday spoke with the lady about repairing my nails it's only been 3 days now and almost every nail on my hand was lifting. I told her I would come back tomorrow due to me heading to the gym. Here it is tomorrow ( which is today) I go in to get my nails repaired. The lady only repaired two of my nails when I asked is she would repair the others she told me no. I politely said ok and walked out . I knew I would NEVER step foot in this establishment again ! Customer service goes a long way with me. The was a great example of poor customer service! read more

1-star was as low as I could go. The owner is extremely rude, and the workers follow her lead. It was the worst experience for a paid service. The salon has a good look and nice furnishings, but the service is AWFUL. I actually felt like I was receiving a free service from someone that did not want to serve me. l will not revisit. Beware. You can't say you weren't warned. read more

Awful! Everyone in this establishment had a horrible attitude. I got my nails done here and didn't like them. I called and asked if i could get them changed. They told me come in. When i went in, they told me I'd have to pay to get them changed. I asked "why couldn't you all tell me that over the phone?!" They had no explanation. Don't go here. Just awful! This shows what I asked for vs what i got. read more

I got gel fill and my nails were done very mediocre and felt rushed. There are bubbles, raised pieces, and the nails could have definitely used another coat due to how light the polish I choose was. I'll more than likely have to go get these re-done somewhere else in a week. read more

I decided to drop in because I needed a quick fill/in and pedicure, a week before a Mardi Gras ball. And I wanted this place to work so I don't have to drive to Metarie every two weeks. But, frankly I find the pedicure (basic) lackluster. My nails were shaped uneven and the polish was unevenly applied. One toe looked like a stripe down the middle since there was unpolished nail bed on both sides. I went in late so felt my fill-in was rushed. Job was decent but I wouldn't go back unless I was in a bind, and only then only for a polish. Overall: meh! read more

Wonderful salon! Brand new equipment and clean space. Technician was amazing. Deluxe pedicure with a great massage! Highly recommend. Best place in Laplace. read more

I see why your reviews are mostly 1 stars if I had to choose I would choose 0 but for me to do this review I had to choose a star. They have the nasty attitude I ever encounter. I really don't see how this Nail salon is still in business. Don't waste your time spending your money here. read more

They took me in right before they were going to close. Did a wonderful job, and even after they closed, made sure my nails were dry and hard so I can drive off and not mess up my nails up. Very courteous clean and sanitary nails and spa. I was staying for work and needed my nail done before I had to go home. read more

Everyone in here has a terrible attitude ! It's hot as dogs breath too. Nice salon but their bad attitudes are unprofessional and don't ask them to pick a color for you bc they will not get up to get it for you. Don't show them a picture bc they think they know what their doing but their work it terrible. Don't go at the end of the day when it's time to go home bc they mad they still workin. Manicure's are rushed and polish comes off within a week. To high priced for BULL*** nails find a good nail tech somewhere else LAPLACE ! Brand New since the storm but crappy service ...SAD !! read more

Kim, the lady in charge is rude! I read the other comments and I can honestly say I've witnessed her push powder regardless of the customer's request. Powder cost more money When I visit a nail salon I am looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Kim's rudeness overwhelming sets the temperature of the environment. The ladies and the one gentlemen who work here are pleasant, however, they lack simple decision making power. Kim is rude to them as well. I hope the owner of this establishment considers these reviews (possibly Kim) because this could be an awesome establishment. On my first visit I thought maybe I was reading too much in to what I heard/saw. I returned a couple of times after my initial visit and realized Megan's Nail Bar lacks a customer service attitude. Needless to say I'm looking for another nail salon. read more

Do not get your nails done here ! They are only good at doing your feet ! This is the only place i get my feet done at . As for a manicure, your nails will break the same day ! They can't polish , design, or even wax good . Please stick to a pedicure ONLY ! read more

When this salon first opened they were very nice and accommodating. I agree with the other comments, the manager Kim is very rude. I did get the gel nails because they do last longer, and I must also agree, it was Kim that suggested it. I also received a pedicure and the polish was horrible. After asking for two of the polishes in my toes be redone, I received a very rude comment from Kim telling me it was my fault. That was two months ago and I will never go back again. read more

I stop in on Sunday to get gel polish. The girl in charge was rude to multiple people. She was working on 3 girls at a time. Its now Thursday and all my nails have chipped off. Most people say to go back and have them fix it but I would NOT go back or recommend them! read more

They could not get my toe polish accurate. 1 of my toes was not polished correctly. I pointed it out and was told no worries will fix. Well instead of taking the polish off of that 1 toe to fix, more coats of polish was placed on top, which caused the color of that 1 particular toe to look different from the color of all my other toes. They kept telling me sometimes the colors vary. Well it shouldn't! How do you have 1 toe looking pink and all others look red! It took them 2 times to fix before finally someone with common sense there said let's remove the polish and re do all toes! Then to top it off, they begin speaking in their language, which is RUDE! It's not like I messed the polish up, they couldn't get it accurate before I got out the chair! I was referred to them, but I will NEVER return! Sticking to my regular salon in Metairie!! read more

They were just so rude to their customers. You went in and asked for acrylic nails but they insisted on getting the powder dip which we did not want. Either way, one of us got powder dip but the lady in the front was being so rude and rough on her. read more
