My boy cat deals with urinary crystals, and has had an all of his emergency surgeries through Belmont. They are great at going through every part of the surgery, as well as going through pricing with what's necessary vs not necessary but can be done if I would like. They give me a call 2 times a day before and after surgery to give me updates. Dr. Holz has been amazing to work with. My boy cat is generally very nervous around vets, but he loves her. She is great at giving different options for treatment. After my boy cat's 5th surgery, she recommended anxiety meds, and he has had no relapses since (). The receptionists are also amazing with customer service. I have called with small questions, and they never seem irritated or too busy to answer them. All the staff including the vet techs, vets, and front desk are extremely kind and welcoming. I would recommend this vet to everyone.

The receptionist on Wednesday said I could pick up the medicine for each of my dogs but I'm not in the area. Then she said I could order online so I did. Through their website. Now on Thursday morning they won't ship it. They gave me medicine in May for 2 months in person but won't ship one month now. Rude folks. Time for a new vet. It was good while it lasted. The lady I talked to on Thursday was rude, too.

Had an excellent experience with Parkview animal hospital. I searched for a vet that could help…read morewith my low income situation, as I have mental illness with disability and am on Medicaid. I called Parkview animal hospital because they had a walk-in clinic and the reviews were high. My labradoodle klondike had an ear infection, it was really bothering him and I really needed to get vet care for my fur baby, but no income to lean on. I spoke to Sarah at the front desk, and she gave me a whole list of places that would have ability to help people that need financial assistance for their pets. I had limited time because of my situation and having to wait for my support group to be able to take me to and from the veterinarian. I called back to Parkview animal hospital and Sarah said to come in and get an estimation of how much it' was going to cost and then can you fill out an application so they could hook me up with Sadie's fund who helps with cases like mine, people that need financial help with fur baby needs. Klondike, my labradoodle is my baby, he's my emotional support animal and I would do anything for him He helps me through so much on a daily basis. I wanted to make him feel better and I finally had hope. My peer support person and myself went to Parkview and Sarah was there, she remembered me, she was super nice and welcoming. The hospital is really clean and big and has lots of toys and food and a TV for nature programs. It is a really friendly and comfy environment. Even though it's a big vet hospital, it feels like a small clinic. Ava gave us an estimate and then submitted my application to Sadie's dog fund, and I was approved later that day. The next day we went back to Parkview, and they did everything that was needed, including giving me meds and drops for his ears, they cleaned his ears and did a cytology. Dr Amy was incredible, super sweet, super nice and informative She was even with my stubborn labradoodle klondike, she confirmed the estimate and made sure I knew how much I would owe once the fund was applied. Klondike wanted to hide under the chair behind my peer support person's legs and Dr Amy and Kennedy gave him some Cheerios and he was good to go. I can't tell you how happy I am and how happy he is now and how much they made a difference on our lives. I was treated with respect, care and understanding, Parkview really cares about your furry family, They are communicative, I had gotten a text before the visit that I was approved for Sadie's dog fund and then also received an email with all the vets instructions for Klondike's care, and our receipt from the visit. The Friday after Thanksgiving one of our cats, Ruby, became very sick. After calling our…read moreveterinarian and being told they couldn't see her that day I decided to call an emergency vet. They could get her in, but not until 4:30 that evening. Needless to say I wasn't waiting that long. However, the lady on the phone could tell I was distressed and she suggested a place over by their area called Vintage Heights Vet. I called. I spoke to Julie and was essentially told to bring her right in and they would start monitoring her. And so I drove across town to Vintage Heights and left my cat in the hands of Dr. Jim. I love our vet. No issues. But Dr. Jim is one of the nicest, kindest, an caring vets I've ever spoken too. He did blood work which showed an issue. In order to further investigate what Ruby was going through Dr. Jim felt there were two options. Sedation or an X-Ray. With what Dr. Jim was telling me it sounded like sedation might do the trick. Unfortunately it did not. So it was down to the X-ray. It showed Dr. Jim exactly what was going on. Without getting too into what her issue is, lets just say she got really backed up from constipation. Yuck! Dr. Jim was able to prescribe a helpful medication that will get 'things moving' again. You might think, wow, they really came thru. And they did. The whole staff at Vintage Heights performed above and beyond the norm. But thats not the end. We still had our bill. But I had planned on how to divvy it up between 2 credit cards. Unbeknownst to me, one of the credit cards I planned on using was full. And my wife and I do not get paid until later this post Thanksgiving week. But I was honest. I told them I was going to be about $50 short, but that we get paid soon. Would they allow me (remember, they don't know me, we are brand new to them) to pay them everything I could now, with a promise to pay the rest when I get paid. This was one of those situations where you know its not going your way, but you try anyway. Boy I'm glad I tried. Dr. Jim was kind enough to allow me to pay the remaining portion of my bill later this week. Unreal! As I mentioned we do have a regular vet, and they are wonderful. But I wouldn't hesitate a second...not a second...to recommend Dr. Jim Himmelberg and his staff over at Vintage Heights. As far as I'm concerned he/they saved my cat. If Ruby would have continued without help things would have looked very grim. Thank you Dr. Jim and enjoy your vacation!!

He was the most loving gentle giant and brought us joy every day of his life. I have had five other dogs euthanized in the vets' offices and always found the end to be very traumatic for me and my beloved fur babies. There is no easy way to say good-bye but Dr. Tricia was so gentle and patient that our old boy left with love in his eyes and a final tail wag. He was at peace because he was at home and Dr. Tricia showed so much love and compassion for him and us. I can't imagine facing the end in any other way again. I highly recommend Dr. Tricia and thank God we found her at just the right time.

My dog was dismissed at her appointment…read morebecause she was 7 pounds overweight, she had a very hard abdomen that was only getting harder, after taking her elsewhere we discovered she actually had internal bleeding in her spleen and had to be put down. She was completely dismissed. Another dog of mine has to be on steroids since he has Addisons, this place had him on double the dose and actually caused his now liver damage. He is now on meds to hopefully repair his liver. This place is completely under staffed with zero knowledge of what they are doing, you are literally paying for them to guess. They caused my dogs more harm than good. For the love of your animals DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY.
