We never once felt rushed and they even made sure to carve out opportunity for us to slow down and be present. The final edited photos and videos were so beautiful we can't watch without bawling our eyes out. They worked so hard to capture each special moment, RAIN OR SHINE, and made them even more magical with their talents. Megan and Kenneth have been our go-to photographers for many moments of our relationship -- because they're so good that we keep coming back!!! Years before we got married, they photographed us in a staged shoot and made such an impression that we hired them 2 years later for our engagement and wedding. The photos they capture bring out so much more than the obvious beauty of the moment. Somehow, they evoke emotion so effortlessly. The only time you remember they are even photographing you is when they are complimenting you & hyping you up. What I love even more is that they pop over to show you how good you look on camera. There is no time to feel self-conscious when they are behind the camera because they make sure you feel as good as you look. Some of our favorite things about them include: - There are two of them!!! Which means more perspective and better shots. - They have such an insane eye for detail and creative vision. You can just focus on being present, knowing they've got it handled. can't stress this enough: the hype. They make you feel like the main character of your life. - The finished product!! They can walk the walk. Their photos are just stunning. Their editing style feels natural and vibrant but also tailored to the couple they photograph. - Their generosity. They feel like more than photographers in the room. They become your friends and your cheerleaders. Never in a million years would I have imagined that my guests would still be talking about our incredible photographers months after our wedding, but people remember them!! They remember how much fun they are, how kind they are, how freaking cool they look while they're trying to get different angles of the shot. Our wedding will definitely not be the last time we work with them. We can't recommend them more highly. They are indeed the best investment you can make for your day. 100 out of 10. read more

Its been nearly a year since our elopement in Central Park in September of 2022 that Megan and Kenneth captured. I've wanted to write a review for a while, but I purchase a highlights reel without my wife knowing and surprised her with it the following Valentines Day in 2023. I didn't want to write a review until I gave her the video in case she saw the review, and since then, I've procrastinated. But here goes. They are perfect. Use them. Don't bother looking elsewhere, it isn't worth your time. Just book them now. My wife and I researched a number of photographers. We were looking for a specific price point with some flexibility on locations and a knowledgeable photographer team who would have some suggestions of their own. We looked through an inordinate number of instagram pages and websites, and settled on a few possibilities, but none of them made us feel as comfortable as Megan and Kenneth. Following an initial consult, we were certain we made the right choice. They were warm, friendly, enthusiastic to help us, and very helpful with timing and suggestions. We completed a detailed questionnaire, and they provide a suggested final "map" from our first look at Bryant Park to our location in Central Park, and when the weather and crowds in Bryant Park were uncooperative, they had a perfect near-by suggestion at the NY Public Library. All of their suggested locations were beautifully located. I feel bad for not remembering the name of the third person who came to help - 3 were necessary due to the video highlight reel - but they were wonderful as well. The 3 of them took an amazing set of photos and got them back to us within days - which was not expected but they just wanted to get it done for us. Even the video was completed weeks earlier than expected. And while the photos were wonderful, the video has made everyone cry when they see it, including me. My mother, my wife, her mother and sister, everyone cries. It was beautifully done and worth every penny. Thank god for digital products because if that was a DVD or VHS (heaven forbid), I would have already worn down the recording. The fact is that Megan and Kenneth are reasonably priced and produce high quality photos and videos. They are helpful, diligent, knowledgeable about their craft, creative, and most of all, warm and friendly. If we ever have another event in NYC and need it photographed, there is no one else we would turn to. Thank you both for all you did for us. read more

Meghan and Kenneth were incredible for us! I could not recommend them enough. Great photographers and better people.

We truly truly loved working with Megan & Kenneth so much. I spent hours and hours poring over portfolios and chatting with photographers for our wedding, but from the initial consult with Megan we were hooked. I am very comfortable with photography and was interested in doing some fun, creative things, but my husband is not. I immediately knew from the perspective they shared with me on the phone call that they'd be able to break my hubby out of his shell, and after our engagement shoot with them, he actually said "wow, that was a lot of fun!" As you can see from our wedding photos, they got us in our truest and most natural habitat, by capturing us as candidly as possible and also occasionally gently guiding us into some natural poses that suited us as a couple. Oh, and they're so responsive and helpful with anything else you may need. I can't say enough about that, they anticipate your every need and are honestly the best sidekicks throughout the event (which is good because they really are by your side the whole time.) My bridesmaids "complained" that they had nothing to do because Megan and Kenneth took care of me so well before they even had a chance! read more

Originally when we got engaged I was so excited to wear a typical bridal dress for my wedding and hve beautiful photos taken-- well...things didn't go as planned and we ended up finding out we were pregnant and that we would be 8 months pregnant by the time of our wedding date! We ended up deciding to get married in civil court on 11/30/18 and hired Brooklyn Wedding Photography to document it as well as take our "wedding" photos. We couldn't have made a better choice with our photography team. I attached some of our wedding photos just so you all would be able to see the type of quality to expect. Megan from Brooklyn Wedding Photography was our photographer and she was an absolute angel to work with. I was beginning to show when we had the photos done and was incredibly insecure regarding how I looked. Normally I am quite shy in front of the camera and it's difficult for me to pose or find my angles however Megan gently directed me into poses that fit best with whatever lighting and scenery we were dealing with. As our wedding anniversary is coming up I keep looking at our wedding photos with fond memories. I plan on us having a more traditional ceremony in a few years when our son is a bit older and will definitely hire Brooklyn Wedding Photo again for their services. Thank you, Megan and Kenneth! read more

There aren't enough words to describe how much of a dream it was to work with Megan & Kenneth. We are obsessed with our wedding photos and engagement photos. From the moment we met them, they put us at ease. Both of us can be awkward at taking pictures, but they instantly made us comfortable and made it fun to take pictures. Megan & Kenneth made it to so that I had no worries by the time the day came around. They would always pop in my inbox with little hints, tips, tricks, and pieces of advice regarding wedding planning, timelines, etc. if I ever had a question, they were super responsive and got back to me quickly. Our wedding photos came back so quickly and are gorgeous. I honestly want to frame every single photo they captured. They got such a good mix of portraits and candids throughout the night. There is no one else that I could imagine having chosen to photograph our special day. I am so incredibly thankful for the amazing photos that they gave us, and for making taking photos so much fun! read more

Megan and Kenneth did an Engagement Photoshoot with me and my husband. I was nervous yet excited because this was my first time having professional photos taken. I wasn't sure what to expect but I knew it would be so worthwhile. Starting with the first and most important step of booking a photographer - the communication leading into it. Megan was so friendly, approachable, flexible and more than helpful. She even shared resources with me that she found helpful from her own wedding and experiences. Connecting with them feels like connecting with really great, long-time friends. They are so proactive that it really helps when you're so stressed about wedding planning as is. We met for an early morning photoshoot in Brooklyn and I am so glad I trusted their judgement on the timing and location suggestions! The normally busy spots were fairly empty and made for such great pictures! Megan and Kenneth are a power couple when it comes to taking the photos - they definitely know what they're doing and how to achieve specific creative results. All we had to do was pose, follow their fun ideas during the shoot, and essentially enjoy being a couple while they did their magic behind the cameras. They're such a fun couple that it shines through the whole experience - I really loved how both their faces lit up with excitement at the shots they were getting. It made both me and my husband feel more relaxed, knowing that we weren't coming off too awkward in the pictures. And finally, the cherry on top of this already great experience - the photos. Oh. My. God! The photos came out so magical!! I was in awe when I saw them - I'm not sure how they managed to capture these incredible moments, but they did. And, as is their style, the photos were the epitome of dreamy, romantic, and whimsical. I am a lifelong fan of Brooklyn Wedding Photo after this experience. I'm recommending them to all of my friends. And I can't wait to have more photoshoots with them in the future! 100/10! read more

We're not sure how we got so lucky as to be connected with Megan and Kenneth. From the beginning till the end of the process they were friendly, fun and professional. They talked us through everything from engagement photo shoot to making shot lists for the day of and helping to arrange first look details and timeline, etc. In addition to being so happy to work with such smart and kind people, we couldn't be more impressed with their photos and videography. They really understood us as people and that comes through in all of our photos and in our video. These are pictures we will look at for a lifetime. I've honestly never liked photos of myself more than these. Also, my now husband studied filmmaking and has a lot of friends who are photographers and it's not easy to impress them, but Megan and Kenneth really did. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed working with these two. read more

Megan and Kenneth are an ideal team to work with for your photography needs. No matter the occasion, the theme, the dream scene, they find a way to make it happen to meet your expectations. Megan's style is dreamy-esque and very romantic. You will want to look at your photos over and over again. Kenneth's style makes you wonder, "how did he ever get that photo! How did he see that?!" His art is truly reflective of you/your family/your love. Both styles work individually and together which makes it so easy to be clients of theirs. They will guide you but at the same time will let you do your thing and it reflects in the final output. I highly recommend Brooklyn Wedding Photo! read more

AMAZING Megan and Kenneth made us feel at ease, which is a big deal since neither of us are comfortable in front of the camera. Kenneth truly went above and beyond when he helped my husband get ready because his friends were running behind. Everyone in my family thought Megan and Kenneth were incredibly professional while also friendly, kind and welcoming. They got through the portraits efficiently - wrangling all the people into place while still being kind and upbeat. I was really disappointed that it rained on my wedding day, but the photos that Megan and Kenneth got in the rain are absolutely incredible. I just can't stop looking at them! read more

Megan and Kenneth were amazing. They made us feel so at ease and were so knowledgeable about what shots work best. You could easily tell they have a passion for what they do. We surprised them by bringing our pup along (he can be a bit whiny when he's separated from us) and Megan kept him company the whole time to calm him down. Highly recommend these guys, the pics came out great! Look no further than this beautiful pic of us with our beautiful son read more

From the moment we met Megan and Kenneth on Zoom we knew we had found our wedding photographers! It just got better and better from that point. Creative, professional, kind, fun, smart, thoughtful, supportive are just a few adjectives to describe this fabulous duo. Their package included an engagement photo session, the key objective was to get to know each other, how to communicate, and to get tips from our experts in order to look out best. We also received some wonderful photos. Sending emails with suggestions and tips all the way up to the big day was extremely helpful- I particularly was grateful that it came in small bites which allowed me to remember these valuable nuggets. My advice is to read every email sent from Megan and Kenneth. On the day of, we got all the requisite group shots without a hitch. Megan and Kenneth were everywhere!!!!!! It felt like they cloned themselves because every time I looked up to get a photo with a friend, one of them was always there ready to take the shot! They are the NICEST and BEST people. read more

Megan and Kenneth were incredible in every sense of the word. From the very first time we spoke I knew they had a true passion for photography and photographing other people's special moments. After taking one look at their website I knew they were the right ones to photograph our wedding. They were able to capture the love that my husband and I felt for each other that day and the love of our family and friends. They were not just taking wedding photos, they were capturing moments. They were also a pleasure to work with. They were so excited while we were taking photos during the engagement session and the wedding. They did not stop until they got the exact shot they were looking for. They would move us an inch this way or a foot that way just to have the beam of light hit us in exactly the right spot to make the most spectacular photo. Megan would take a photo, look at it in her camera window, her face would light up, and then she would be like, "guys, you have to see this, it is amazing". That kind of genuine excitement about what she was doing is rare. The care and passion they bring to their photography is evident in the quality that comes through in the final product. We also had them do our wedding video and it was better than I could have expected. They humored us and did interviews with some of our family members and then integrated those into the video which made the video even more personal and special. They also embraced the fact that we got married in the middle of Manhattan at the Bryant Park Grill. We did our first look right in front of the restaurant per Megan and Kenneth suggestion which was incredible since it had the greenery from the ivy on the restaurant wall. They had us walk across a crosswalk in the middle of traffic just to get that special photo with NYC taxis in the background. We got some incredible architectural shots at the New York Public Library and then had some whimsical ones on the carousel at Bryant Park. These were some of the more special moments from the day. My husband and I got to be alone with just Megan and although she was their taking our pictures and giving us hints and tips the whole time to help us get the best photos, it was almost like she wasn't there or she was just a friend who was tagging along. The photos speak for themselves. I would recommend Brooklyn Wedding Photo a hundred times over and I cannot wait to use them for my next special occasion! read more

Just holy wow, wow, wow. We couldn't be more obsessed with our photos, not to mention the fact they came 3 days after the wedding (!!!). Not only are the photos drop dead gorgeous, but Megan and Kenneth are true photography ninjas - we truly don't know how they were seamlessly and effortlessly everywhere, capturing the most beautiful portraits with the perfect mix of candids. The only thing you might be more obsessed with than your photos is the husband and wife duo themselves. They were supportive, light hearted and in tune with all of the feels of a wedding day. All of our guests and family who crossed their paths couldn't speak more highly of them. Plus, I'm a sucker for anyone who catches onto my HIMYM references. We can't wait to work with them again. read more

This review is long overdue! Megan and Kenneth were recommended to me by a coworker for an engagement shoot. I haven't done professional photos in a long while and my then-fiance (now hubby) wasn't a huge fan of being in front of a camera but I convinced him to do it for his beloved lol. We met Megan and Kenneth on a cold day in Queens not really knowing what to expect. Well we were so lucky to be clients of theirs. They put us at ease immediately. They were such a joy to work with. They will do what it takes to get the perfect shot even if it means them getting a little dirty haha. You can tell they love what they do. The turnaround in receiving the photos was quick and I loved each and every photo. I can't wait to work with them again! Thank you! read more

Megan and Kenneth far and away exceeded our expectations. The incredible photos and video they provided capture one of the happiest moments in our lives and honestly helped us both better remember and internalize the immense joy of that day (it's a lot to process in the moment!). For us, their work is art that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We cannot recommend them highly enough. On the day, they managed to be wonderful, kind sources of support during the stressful pre-ceremony moments and seamlessly blended in during the ceremony and celebration that followed. They captured natural moments without ever forcing awkward, unrealistic shots. For two people that are not particularly comfortable in front of a camera, this was incredibly important to us. Beyond that, they are both just genuinely nice, cool people-- a breath of fresh air after dealing with several not-so-kind people in the wedding industry. Overall, they just got us and it's clear that they take seriously their duty to tailor their services to the specific wants and needs of each couple. Book them. You won't regret it. read more

Where to start - Brooklyn Wedding Photo was such a treasure! We got to know Megan and Kenneth at a couple shoot a few weeks before our wedding. They turned the photoshoot - something we had feared would be an awkward and uncomfortable experience - into an amazingly fun morning that was topped with helpful last-minute advice. On our wedding day, it felt like we were meeting old friends. Megan and Kenneth had provided us with a day-of checklist, arrived early at their own initiative to take photos of the setup, were a helping hand wherever needed, were extremely well-organized in capturing all relevant family and guest groups, made our wedding shoot a personal and memorable moment on our wedding day away from the guest crowd, and - most importantly - created amazing photos for us, that we received in a short period of time! We got so many compliments for the photos. It was a great perk to have two photographers who not only work extremely well as a team but who captured important moments from different angles! Throughout the process, Megan and Kenneth were extremely responsive, reliable, and easy to communicate with. All of this makes Brooklyn Wedding Photo uniquely outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for amazing wedding photos by two photographers who will make you feel comfortable and create a personal experience for you throughout. read more

Above and beyond what we expected. To start, Kenneth was incredible with the surprise proposal photos. From day one he was extremely attentive and invested in making the process perfect. I couldn't have been happier with how the photos came out. Not to mention he masterfully handled the extremely hyper puppy along for the ride and made the process seamless. M&K were both incredibly helpful in keeping us on track regarding the timeline for the wedding and knowing exactly what was needed and when it was best to get it done. From having a handful of spots picked out for our engagement photos on the Brooklyn bridge to keeping us on schedule on the day of the wedding, everything was top notch. Honestly we couldn't have asked for a better photo team..... oh not to mention we LOVED the photos (have yet to watch the video, but I'm sure its great.) read more
