We hired this company to install our windows. Also to remove our concrete garage floor & part of the driveway. After the windows were installed, but cleanup not done, we paid for the window job in full & then giving a deposit of half towards the concrete removal. On the basis that they would be back to finish the window cleanup while doing the concrete work. Prior to being paid, they showed up at 7-8am each day, after being paid, they showed up once, at Noon & worked 3 & 1/2 hours. They made a huge mess with the concrete & then sent us an email two days later stating that they would not finish the job, as it is 'too difficult'. Now they are refusing to finish the concrete part of this job & have left us with a partially removed garage floor, a random line cut across the driveway & huge heavy bags of concrete debris in the yard. Not to mention the loose concrete all over the front. There are also broken pieces of glass & random garbage all over the yard. We fully expected this cleanup to be finished while they were there doing the concrete work. They are simply refusing to come back now & even clean up the huge mess they left. I could see on my security cameras, they opened my front window to run an extension cord, instead of plugging it in in the garage.. then proceeded to blow massive amounts of concrete dust from the driveway, into our living room window. While installing our kitchen window, that was bigger than the original window that was there, they had to cut into the header. We know literally zero about window installation & we're trusting the judgment of these professionals. Manny, the owner, asked if we wanted the window to go a bit higher than the original plan. We said if that's possible, sure, move it up a bit. We find out after, that's incredibly bad to cut too far into the header & possibly cause cracking, which can make the entire house unstable. I see cracks in the header that's above the window now, but I need to have it assessed by a professional to find out. It was disappointing the owner of this company then tried to lie after the fact & say we insisted the window be higher into the header. We're now out money & more importantly have a partially finished job with a huge heavy concrete mess left for us to figure out how to remove. Contractors seem to be good, until they get your money. read more
