There was a time when dealing with any kind of insurance company would generate feelings of dread and frustration, but that's until I signed up with Meg at State Farm Insurance. I've always been greeted with a welcoming environment without having to deal with someone who you could tell did not have an answer for you. I must admit, I was concerned when I couldn't just walk in the office as normal any more, but with all the questionable behavior coming from certain segments of society, now I appreciate the fact that the door is secure when I'm inside.   Now, I can't tell someone that if you visit Meg's State Farm location you will always get the lowest rates for insurance, and if you find something lower, remember you get what you paid for. On the other hand, what I can say is you will get the best insurance deal that will cover what you need if you visit Meg's location. So if you're shopping around and still haven't decided who you should consider next, check this place out. I strongly doubt that you will regret it. read more

Michelle Hunter We are family members of Meg, but hey guys...don't feel bad about how you are treated- we are not treated any better, it's looking a like we get treated worse than the rest of you. I reached out to Meg personally 8 weeks ago with a time sensitive question...she replied that she is so busy that her time was precious. She would try and call me when she had a chance. We have no idea why she had choosen to act this way. Now after talking with corporate- MEG'S AGENCY HAS , PER CORPORATE- OUT AND OUT LIED TO US ABOUT OUR POLICY!!!!! My husband had an appointment for a phone conference and then received a call from Ann that she had accidentally double booked Meg and would call him to reschedule- that was a week ago. Have Meg or Ann called either of us....nope. Never had any issues when David ran this agency, he was always ready to help, at anytime. We had to finally reach out to David to say....hey, can you help us? I'm thinking its time to call the NC Insurance Commioner and report her, which I just finished doing! do not use this agency. i am not sure how i was linked to this agency but very disappointed in the service. i have been with this agency for many years. i just had 1 question that could not be answered nor justified. this office does not return calls nor do they assist with the questions or answer inquires in a timely manner. the customer service is horrible, especially ann. she is rude and does not know how to do her job. when asked questions about your billing she does not know how to read the bill and she does not know much information always have to find the answer. the staff is incompetent and does not know how to do their job. find another agency to work with. altogether work with another insurance company. state farm is a fraud! all insurance companies are frauds!!! read more

We are so glad that we get our call to do an insurance check up each year! Without the review that we had kinda just blown off, we found out that our previous agent has us way under covered on our homeowners insurance. Like so many other things in life we figured everything is fine but glad we kept getting nudged to do this and now it's a regular thing. I have been with Dave and Meg. Hunter for 20-25 years. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. They are rude and hateful to there customers. I also put in a request to change my billing address multiple times over a year and a half and was never changed. I also put in a request to speak with my agent Meg. Hunter 5 times and never got a phone call. I was told by Jody in the office that Meg. Hunter did not have time to talk to customers like me because she is the business owner even though she is my insurance agent. Anyone that has insurance with this agency I would check your policy really well because they wont be there when you need them. read more

Since Meg took over the office from her father, it seems to have turned into a giant telemarketing operation. Weekly calls and text trying to sell me more insurance or refinance my car or house. Also try to get you to come into the office to go over your plans so they can sell you more. Even after I fired them, I still get calls and text trying to sell me things that I would never consider even if I was still a client. read more

I needed to cancel my insurance policy because I no longer needed it anymore. I was told by one person that it would take 3-5 then I went up there and they said it was take 30 days . So 30 days went by and I have not received anything yet . So I emailed William Seabreeze we goes to tell me that it was a mix up and I have to wait another 30 days so it's now February and I haven't received anything . I emailed Meg Hunter and she says that there WAS another issue the dates were wrong ! Nobody from the office was going to tell me anything about this . If I haven't had emailed them to see what was going on I would've been just sitting here . And yeah I have to wait again. THEY ARE BAD FOR BUSINESS , I would certainly recommend State Farm BUT I will never recommend MEG HUNTER Office . read more
