It is one of my favorite pieces of furniture. I was devastated and wanted it restored to its original condition. Having no experience getting a piece refinished, I turned to the web combing over sites and reviews. I came upon Artisan's site and it seemed to be someone who cherished this type of work. My intuition proved true. The owner, Guy, was easy to work with and I am more than pleased with the finished restoration. He was accommodating of my timing (he's super busy!) and how I wanted it restored ( leaving some of the character like where my dog chewed on the leg and matching the current or original stain color). Since I didn't shop around, I can't speak to the pricing but it seemed fair to me. I would not hesitate at recommending Guy for any treasured piece needing refinishing. Before and after pics below. In both cases, the staff member that came out…read morewas courteous, explained the job, provided an easy to understand estimate, performed the work as good as or better than described, and was super neat such that there was no trace they were ever here. In the most recent case, we had a front porch post that was suddenly rotting and coming down. Someone was dispatched the same day. When it was determined not to be structural, the post was repaired the next day and it perfectly matches the original post. You cannot tell the difference. We will definitely use Pink Rose in the future! Their service cannot be beaten. We've never had a contractor work so efficiently and neatly in our home.
