I decided to try again and saw Jackie. The difference in a couple months was really great! She listened to my concerns about harsh treatments and how I didn't have luck with tretinoin in the past. She noticed that I had multiple issues that needed to be resolved so she put me on a treatment plan. As I progressed I was able to phase out prescriptions once they were solved. My skin concerns of course were not solved overnight but I was happy to have someone who was able to guide me every step of the way. She listened to all my concerns and is an absolute pleasure to see. I've only seen Jackie so I can't speak for the other doctors. All the nurses I've dealt with have been helpful and professional. I will say I've never had the issues others have had in their reviews. Front desk is like any other medical front desk. Kind of cold but they get my appointments scheduled and send documents quickly. The wait times can be long so I like scheduling end of day. Parking is also not easy during the day but clears up later. Overall I highly recommend Jackie but give yourself time for parking/ wait times.

I understand that businesses are there to sell their products and services, but in my experience, the sales pressure here was excessive. They compliment you and then quickly start suggesting that you need additional products or services, even when it doesn't seem necessary. It left me feeling like the priority was making a sale rather than being completely honest about what the customer actually needs. What really upset me was my experience with the nurse, Gea. She initially seemed very nice and professional. After doing my filler, there was product left in the syringe, and she told me my sister could use the remainder. When she worked on my sister's lips, she only injected three areas. We were told her lips would still be even, but afterward they did not look even. At that point, I felt like the limited amount used was more about creating a reason for my sister to purchase additional filler rather than achieving the best result with what was available. On top of that, there was no real visible difference in my own lips either, even though I had the treatment done. As I mentioned, she did not even use the full syringe, and it honestly felt like the situation was used to encourage not only my sister but also myself to buy more product. I personally see no noticeable difference in my face. Based on my personal experience, I did not feel that the recommendations were always being made with the customer's best interest in mind. I felt there was too much focus on selling more product. I would recommend being very cautious, asking exactly how much product is being used, and making sure you fully understand what you are paying for before agreeing to anything. I called OSVI in the morning at 9:00am and had an appointment to see Dr. Nicole Salame at 10:45am the same day! Upon arrival, the front office staff was very welcoming and as a first time patient I was handed an easy to use tablet instead of a clipboard and papers to fill out. I was offered a choice of refreshment while I waited to see the doctor which, was maybe 20 minutes from my arrival. Dr. Salame examined me and reviewed the ultrasound that I had brought. She offered to treat the cyst the same day!! I was provided with an estimate for the service (OSVI was not covered by my insurance) that I found very reasonable. She performed the surgery in office and her skill and care was just wonderful. She has excellent bedside manner and communicated openly before, during and after the procedure. I really appreciate that she always responded to my questions with empathy and professionalism. I never felt rushed! Something that is very rare with doctors these days. By 12:30 I was checking out of the office with my painful cyst gone!! I was given clear instructions on how to care for the wound and some sample ointment that was thoughtfully put in a little bag. Yes, even as a guy, little details like this matter because it shows that the staff are thinking about their patient's well being and not just performing a perfunctory job. I can't emphasize enough how everyone was so pleasant and how I felt like a valued patient. I returned in 2 weeks for a follow-up to remove the stiches and was informed that I was healing well. Today the surgical wound has almost disappeared with little to no scar and absolutely no complications. Overall, I am THRILLED with the results! I highly recommend OSVI for any of your dermatological needs! It was so refreshing to be treated like a valued patient with empathy and professionalism by the entire staff.
