Was visiting Barcelona for a couple of days and decided to get a tattoo that represented my time here. Was going to get a palm tree with a sun on my calf and a little boat on my outer foot. Went to 'medusa tattoo' and I believe I spoke to the shop owner Eva. First impressions of Eva weren't that great but still gave her a chance. I was quoted a 100euro for both tattoo's. (Ps. Went to a few other 5 star tattoo places in the area and they charged 80-90euro so best go elsewhere for a cheaper tattoo) I had already paid my deposit of 20euro so couldn't turn back at that point. I showed her what tattoo and style I wanted on my phone and I asked her if she wanted me to send the images to her and her response was 'no its fine, its pretty basic', which was fine so I came back 30 minutes later.
I looked up 'medusa tattoo's' online to check there reviews and they all said really nice things. Was very excited to see her work. When she presented the first bit of art work I would have rated it 3/10 work. I showed her what I wanted for the second time. When she came back the second time her artwork was the worst bit of artwork I have ever seen. She seemed totally uninterested in creating my tattoo, while also giving me attitude when I was looking at it and walked off saying 'well while you're doing that I've actually got other work to do!'. I then decided that this wasn't the place for me and asked Eva if I could get my deposit back so I could go elsewhere and she refused. So I walked out without a tattoo in Barcelona and 20euro poorer.
One of the WORST tattoo places I have EVER been to. Would NOT recommend, unless you like getting attitude and disappointing artwork from your tattoo artist. read more
