I actually communicated with her months ago before I came to Barcelona and thought to see if she can put me in. With a few back and forth, I put my deposit in, told her my budget and gave her specifically what I wanted. When I came today, I felt so incredibly comfortable. I went by myself and the place felt like a favorite bar I go to. I waited for Fer for a bit and I was in no rush at all, but as soon as she stepped into that door, she was in artist mode. She showed me what she had made and I immediately fell in love with it. Her tattooing was so light and I'm one of those intolerable, whiny bitches that can't take needles but OMFG I LEGIT FELL ASLEEP WHILE GETTING TATTED; I actually had dreams happening. That's how comfortable I was. I cannot praise her enough for the amazing and incredible job she did. I praise and bow down to her like the goddess she is! My body felt like a canvas before but now I feel like Michael Angelo's paintings in the Sistine Chapel.

I have had tattoos in the past and decided to get a little ink. I researched what was on offer in Barcelona and was overwhelmed by the number of studios. But the one I kept coming back to was 19:28. I was able to browse some of his work and am definitely calling back next time I am in town.

It was super easy to contact them and schedule an appointment via email a few months out. My artist was Angls and my girlfriend's was Steffe. They were both phenomenal!! If/whenever we return to Barcelona we're definitely coming back!

I emailed Toni a few weeks before with my idea and he gave me a VERY GOOD quoted price (which is rare for a tattoo artist to do in NYC they do hourly usually). I worried a bit that for the price the work would suffer. I could not have been more wrong. Toni is a true artist. He is so incredibly confident with his hand and it is reflected in just how clear his lines and overall work turns out. I will return to him every time I go to Barcelona for more tattoos. Both Toni and the other artist are very friendly, open, and easy to communicate with. The shop feels like a hangout where everyone is nonjudgmental and easy going. Walking around Barcelona after I got my tattoo everyone complimented the work and asked where I got it done. If you're thinking of getting a tattoo in Barcelona, don't think, go immediately to Blue Cat. You won't ever regret it.

We all have a few tattoos that we had been waiting to get. So we all were prepared. I wanted a Frida Kahlo tattoo but an outline of her head basically and i wanted it reallllllyyyyyy small. There's been other occasions where I'll go into a tattoo shop and they refuse to basically give me what i want even though it'll be a permanent mark on my body ( i don't get it ) but I think his name was Daniel. He totally worked with me and made it the PERFECT size. I'll post a picture once it's healed but i appreciated that he worked with what i requested. My friends loved theirs as well too. I'll post our pictures in a few days. But this place is cool! Not too pricey. I know yelp is mostly popular in America and a lot of business in other places don't have reviews but i think people should know this is a good spot. We took a chance since they didn't have reviews and it was totally worth it.
