Once ready however, he works quickly and it never feels like he's purposely working slowly to milk the hourly rate. Another positive note is that All the artists here are quick to tell you if an idea will not work. They never force something that won't look right simply because you had the idea. These people are scammers, if they see you don't have any tattoos they quadruple charge you because they know you're uneducated about everything. Unfortunately they took advantage of me and charged me nearly a grand for a 200/300 piece when I didn't know better. They also make you sign an insane contract. And milk you of all your money with any charge they can think of. Of course read it. But unfortunately if you're younger or haven't been tattooed you don't know this isn't normal and that they are preying on you. (My case). The deposit of course which was over $200 for a small patch tattoo. One minute late? Charged. Though my artist was nearly a half hour late. (They don't follow their own contract but I guess it's fine. Also they don't let you in until they are ready so get ready to freeze or melt on the little wooden bench as you're forced to wait outside.) Change in the template when you don't get to see it at all beforehand anyways? Charged. Reschedule? Charged. lol. Unfortunately if you are new to tattoos/getting tattoos they take full advantage. On top of that my artist specifically, Mal, completely changed the lettering and the design of my tattoo. And for my tattoo, the piece was designed specific to be a replica of something, an item, not a different tattoo or artwork. I got there and he said this is the tattoo.. I said, why did you change it? He said, well this is easier for me to do. So essentially, he changed it without asking because he was lazy and refused to change it back. At that point I had put so much money in. I didn't wanna lose any more because I would've been charged for changing or canceling. The tattoo is basic at best. I also had to go to a different artist to get the lettering redone because Bro didn't even go deep enough for it to stick. I was much too uncomfortable to go back. I also didn't want to be charged a fee for their mistake which I'm sure I would've been. The tattoo, totally lop-sided and misaligned. You would think a beginner did it or that it was freehanded. Thankfully, I found a different place in the city over. I got a tattoo three times the size with crispy lines and it's actually what I wanted for about half the price. Would never recommend this place ever. All they care about is money!

It was off campus but only a 10 min drive, which wasn't bad, since we were looking for a place she would feel comfortable getting her first non-earlobe piercing Angie was a great piercer and was very knowledgeable and helpful with me choosing the placement of piercings. (I went in on a whim and didn't know exactly what I wanted) I had lost my old cartilage ring and she has tons of cute jewelry at great prices, and helped me find a larger earring that fit in the curve of my upper ear, and advised me with a new mid ear piercing. Angie offered to change out the earring to a hoop after the piercing if I didn't feel comfortable doing it myself. It almost looks like the actual print was scanned and screen printed onto my arm. If you're thinking about getting some work done, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Jessica as your artist. Honestly, all of the artists there had some great examples in their sample books, and I went with Jessica based on some paw prints she had done and posted to social media, but you probably can't go wrong with anyone there. The studio itself was clean and the rooms were private (or at least mine was, as we were the only ones in there). Bob was super patient and helpful picking both the new placement and jewelry, which I would have never thought of myself since the stud with chain is typically used on the helix. He was also just super easy to chat with and while closing up, he even went the extra mile to send the antibacterial soap to my place since I wasn't checking in a bag. 10000% recommend Bob!
