With my initial visit, she came across with light-hearted humor which I appreciate as I am a relatively young student, but also remained professional at the same time. The main reason I came in for a visit was because I have medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow) which was caused due to frequent bench pressing in the gym. I had this for a few months and realized that it wasn't going away so I finally gave physio a try. Deepika did dry needling to treat my condition and after 5/6 sessions, the pain in my elbow is almost absent. Other than my golfer's elbow, she treated me for a variety of different things too such as tight hamstrings, tight intercostal muscles and we are currently working on muscle imbalances in my glutes and lower body. Another thing that I appreciate about Deepika is that I work in the fitness industry, so I know a little bit about the human body. Dr. Tony held my hand like measuring pulse. He said that I have pain in my neck, back, and knee. He diagnosed me just by holding his thumb for pulse reading. What a joke!!! I said "No, I just have lower back pain because I injured my self, muscles damaged and probably ligaments. He said; "No, it's meridian." Hahaha, physiotherapist could feel that some muscles were stiff and I had lots of pain. Then he put about 7-8 needles into my back and pulled them out after 45 minutes. No heat pads or heat lamp. I asked him about patches. No. Then charged me $88 for treatment and $80 for the consultation. What consultation, he just held his thumb on my vein for 30 seconds. It's a pure fraud, scam. There was no care for comfort or efforts to calm the nervous system whatsoever... and I received no acupuncture at all. When I told him my age he also laughed and told me it was too late for me to be having a baby... not something I need to hear at 10 weeks pregnant.
