I've been a client of Marianna since 2003. In the past 22 years, no matter where I moved to, I…read morewould make the trek to New West to see her because she is just that good. She's friendly, well-trained and always double checking that what she's doing is alright, as opposed to some prior Chiropractors who would just manipulate me with no advance warning. I've also seen both Jamie and Cindy as RMTs (Cindy for at least 10 years now I think), and both are fantastic. Can't say enough good things about the clinic as a whole. And the online booking option now on the website and E-transfer payments make everything so easy!!! 10 stars out 5, in a heartbeat!

I have seen Michael Wiebe RMT for massage on multiple visits so this is not a one off visit…read more Michael is calm, collective, and a real pro at what he does. Michael has been massaging people for well over ten years and it shows. The type of massage I prefer is deep tissue focusing on problem areas (orthopedic massage) which Michael excels at. Instead of the usual relaxing Swedish for the entire session, Michael will rely on his carefully selected and proven modalities based on his many years of experience to provide a balanced treatment. Some RMTs will give you a spa massage despite you asking for otherwise. Michael listens. The first time Michael worked on my shoulders, I could feel my rotators and upper back gently spasm as they finally released after eons of stress from computer work! No other RMT has been able to do that. The location of the clinic is perfect on the street level. I usually park my bike up at Cap's close by. Skytrain is also a short walk. My highest recommendation!

A co-worker recommended Dr John Dang many years ago when I was looking for a chiropractor and so I…read morecame to see him. I found him to be very personable and caring and good at what he does. When I was rear-ended several years ago, Dr John oversaw my care and made many recommendations on what I needed for my recovery. Through him, I also saw the physiotherapist, kinesiologist for active rehab, acupuncturist and RMT. It was convenient to have everything under one roof. They can share notes too. There are two locations in New West, one on Columbia Street and the other on Front Street, both within walking distance. The RMT and acupuncturist are on Columbia Street and chiro, physio and active rehab are on Front Street. Paid parking is available right outside. So pay for it as the city parking warden comes by very often to check. The staff is also very friendly and warm. It's a great place with good therapists if you are looking for a place for treatment.

Back in October, I had surgery for a very badly broken wrist (I now permanently have metal in my…read morearm) and had to go for physiotherapy. I chose Collingwood Physiotherapy & Wellness because of a recommendation, location, and hours (they have evening and Saturday appointments). Due to lack of communication from my surgeon, I didn't start physiotherapy until the beginning of January, two and a half months after the surgery (apparently, I should have started physio 6 weeks after the injury). Because I waited so long, I was pretty screwed; I had no range of movement in my wrist and couldn't even hold an empty cup of coffee. When the physiotherapist saw me, he was pretty freaked out. Because I was starting my physiotherapy so late, there was a lot of work to do, so I had to go in twice a week. I regularly saw two physiotherapists, Keane and Kelvin. They were very nice, and tolerated my screaming (oh god, the pain at having my wrist pulled and bent!). After three months of intensive physiotherapy (March 31st was my last day), my wrist is nearly back to normal--it's not 100% perfect, as it can take up to a year to fully recover (and I sometimes slack at doing my physio exercises...), but it's good enough for me. I went from being pretty fucked to back to normal, thanks to Keane and Kelvin. I'd definitely recommend Collingwood Physiotherapy & Wellness.

I have been to a few lifelabs and this is my preferred location even though it's not the nearest…read moreone from my home. The place is clean with a big waiting area. Morning is usually busy and the wait time for walk ins can be an hour though it really depends. Check the website on estimated wait time before going over. Or make an appointment online which is what I usually do. I did a walk in on my last visit and it was about 20-30 minutes wait. I liked that there is a monitor showing the wait time there. There are 4 chairs for taking blood samples. Two washrooms to use, with an area to deposit your urine and stool samples in it. The phlebotomists are usually quite good. I've only encountered one who could have better bedside care. She told me I could go, so I left. Then I discovered the puncture site was bleeding. The blood soaked up the cotton pad and through my jacket when I got to my car. I went back and asked what do I do. She made seemed like it was my fault and didn't offer any wipes to clean up the blood. I was given a new bandaid and instructions to press on it for 5 mins before leaving. So I learnt my lesson. I now pressed on the site for at least 5 minutes before leaving the chair. You can also email the requisition form before hand. Do it at least 5-10 minutes or earlier so you can get the confirmation number which the front desk required. There are a few steps to get to the clinic though there is also a ramp for those who find steps challenging. Free street parking is available here, and there is a bus stop right outside. If this place is very busy, there is another lifelabs a couple of blocks away.

His office is located inside the Richmond Oval, with plenty of underground parking. Parking is free for the first 30 min and then $2/every hours after that. Right now he's not taking appointments in person, but if you give his office a call, you're able to schedule an appointment via the phone and he'll give you a call on your appointment date. I needed to get my prescription refilled a few weeks ago, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. During our call he faxed the paperwork to my pharmacy right away and it was ready for pick up within the hour. Bless technology! Dr. Watts is knowledgeable, friendly, and a great listener. I have always been able to have open, honest conversation with him, never once feeling judged, unlike other doctors I've had in my past. Thank you for being a wonderful human, Dr. Watts!
