After a little bit of research I decided on Massage Central. I was originally planning on going to a local chiropractor but I decided on Massage Central after finding out that the owner and a few employees had previous experience at the same chiropractor I was looking at. I only need a 30 minute session focus on the knot on my back. Rebecca (the owner) was my chosen masseuse. The room was dim and comfortable with music playing in the background. The table was almost like a bed using warming pads under you and sheets to cover you. The whole process from beginning to end was a breeze. The actual massage itself was a deep tissue to break apart the knot. I'm not going to lie, it hurt a little during the process but within a day or two my back was normal again. Just a little sore. The prices at about $1 and minute with discounted prices the longer you go. 30 minutes cost me $30 but if I went back in two weeks it would only be $20. I'm not one to get massages all the time but I didn't think the price was steep at all and it was definitely worth it to relieve me of the pain I was having. The chiropractor wanted $60 for the first visit and wouldn't be able to see me for 2 days after in-processing.

This combines energy work with Swedish massage and it was an excellent experience. As a mom and educator, I'm often left with very little emotional energy to care for myself. This leaves me depleted, anxious, and depressed. As a person with ADHD and cPTSD, I often don't think I can still my body or mind enough to relax and reconnect with myself. I left my 90 minute session feeling rejuvenated and as I told Sarah, I left feeling cared for. That's a really big thing for someone like me. If you're looking for this type of experience, or just a good-ol'-fashioned "regular" massage, I cannot recommend Sarah enough. She is excellent at what she does.

My bestie treated me to a couples premium spa package which included the float pod, infrared sauna, infrared massage, cryo facial, and a juice. When we walked in the front door the tranquil decor style, smells from essential oils, and a fantastic collection of rocks and crystals had me smiling from ear to ear. They offer a juice bar with fresh smoothies and juices, and have a nice seating area up front. Down the hall is the spa area which is more quiet and there is a separate lounge area in the back full of beautiful plants. In addition to spa services there are rocks, crystals, house made essential oils, jewelry and other cool items. This is a family business and everyone who I came in contact with were super down to earth, inviting, knowledgeable and friendly. My friend and I really enjoyed all the services they provided, although due to chronic neck pain I wasn't crazy about the float pod.
