She only talked to ask about pressure, which is really important. Her prices are really good and the regular massage includes hot stones and essential oils. Other places charge extra. She focuses on every part of the body. My head has never been massaged so good before. She worked knots out of my neck, hands, and feet as well. I can't wait until I'm back in town so I can see her again!

For my birthday this year, I got a mental health massage with Sarah Avery, LMT. I've recommended…read moreher to many friends for good-ol'-fashioned "regular" massage but let me say: mental health massage was fantastic. This combines energy work with Swedish massage and it was an excellent experience. As a mom and educator, I'm often left with very little emotional energy to care for myself. This leaves me depleted, anxious, and depressed. As a person with ADHD and cPTSD, I often don't think I can still my body or mind enough to relax and reconnect with myself. I left my 90 minute session feeling rejuvenated and as I told Sarah, I left feeling cared for. That's a really big thing for someone like me. If you're looking for this type of experience, or just a good-ol'-fashioned "regular" massage, I cannot recommend Sarah enough. She is excellent at what she does.

I can't tell you how the massage was as I screwed up and mapped out the location wrong when booking , I thought this place was only an hour away and but was actually an hour and 45 minutes away. I called as soon as I got on the road at 1:30 for my 3 pm appointment. I had to leave a message and my call was returned at 2:30. I was going to be approximately 15 minutes late but the receptionist would not allow me to be late and canceled the massage. I was hoping they would allow me to just take away from the time , but it was a hard no. Thankfully she waived the cancel fee. I really appreciate the understanding here. The facial. Main reason for this not so good review. The person doing my facial was great. But they use a machine with the entire process. The machine had nothing but issues and I question if I received my entire "booster" as it wasn't applying the serum. It was a $150 facial at best. 2nd reason. If you want to use any of the facilities do not allow them to book you for a 4pm. They turn everything off. I was 5 minutes into my steam and then nothing. Really dampened the experience. If you come here, stay way from the $300 facial. You'll feel completely ripped off.

I absolutely LOVED this place!…read more **This is a catch up review as was there around Thankgiving** It's so wonderful to come back to my hometown and see a business like this thriving! My bestie treated me to a couples premium spa package which included the float pod, infrared sauna, infrared massage, cryo facial, and a juice. I didn't really know what to expect, since my friend only told me "you're going to love this place" and she was right. When we walked in the front door the tranquil decor style, smells from essential oils, and a fantastic collection of rocks and crystals had me smiling from ear to ear. They offer a juice bar with fresh smoothies and juices, and have a nice seating area up front. Down the hall is the spa area which is more quiet and there is a separate lounge area in the back full of beautiful plants. In addition to spa services there are rocks, crystals, house made essential oils, jewelry and other cool items. This is a family business and everyone who I came in contact with were super down to earth, inviting, knowledgeable and friendly. My friend and I really enjoyed all the services they provided, although due to chronic neck pain I wasn't crazy about the float pod. This was mainly due to not being able to get comfortable floating in the water with my head back. Just my own personal preference, but did see a book full of hand written reviews from people who swear by their experience. I highly recommend this business and can't wait to come back on my next visit to Michigan!
