During July and August Govindas has a range of meditation and yoga short courses on offer.
I attended a meditation class run by Tim McEvitt. There is the option to either sign up for the entire course or drop in on a casual basis.
The meditation sessions are comprised of two parts - the first involves silent meditation and the second is a journey of relaxation and visualisation.
I found the class quite interesting and rather beneficial. The room the classes are held in is inviting and comfortable, and Tim has a very calm, unobtrusive manner.
I've been to other meditation classes in the past, and this was one of the simpler classes I've attended. Personally I'd prefer something a little more advanced, but then again, this was the first class of a five week course, so perhaps by the end of the course it will build to something incredible?
