(I waited double the time I was told they would reach out) 7/16- talked to Ellie, who scheduled a call for 7/24. 7/24- repair man showed up on time to do repair however since he's not certified to make this repair he called to get someone else to do it. 8/4 I tried to call to get confirmation of today's call all 3 numbers I had went to VM. As neither my husband or I got anything from their side. After leaving first review I called them again and they were not happy with my review because it told this whole story from 6/19 onwards which included Lazy boy of Myrtle Beach and their part of this story. And while she tried to commend the first techs good sense not to make a repair he was not knowledgeable about, the issue was lost on her that as a company you should know what your employees can do before you send them to a customers home to make a repair in the first place. Concidering you know what you're coming to repair, you know what part it is, and photos were sent of damage. As a company that's when apologizes need to be made not justifications for bad actions. And while after today's visits star rating may improve the narrative is what it is, because this is what's happened. Yes, it was great that he didn't attempt the repair, but you shouldn't have sent him to begin with.

The fabric has a big floral pattern and I wasn't sure how they would look once it was completed but Brian and his team matched up the pattern so all the chairs look identical which must have been hard but makes them look amazing. I am very happy with the final product and will definitely be reaching out to Brian for future projects. I felt his prices were very reasonable.

After calling numerous shops in the area, only Ed immediately knew the type of wood (Koa) and was confident that he could completely disassemble and repair them, entirely without nails or screws, as built 80 years ago. He repaired their structure, re-laminated the chipped chair backs immaculately, and reupholstered the seats. Without instruction to, he noticed the details in the fabric and covered each chair in an aesthetic and symmetrical way. Amazing! Beyond all this, Ed even came in on a holiday to open his shop so that I could pick them up because of my schedule. I can't imagine better service or work SMA shop anywhere.

The quality of the boat cover that was made for us is outstanding. It was made of durable Sunbrella…read morefabric. The price was so much better than what the dealer wanted to charge for the factory cover. This cover was custom designed specifically for this boat to my specifications. The amazing customer service that was offered by Dilcia and her family was truly amazing. The first iteration of the boat cover did not have cutouts for the cleat. The cleats needed to be free and clear for when the marina launches it into the water so they can control it. When I mentioned this to Dilcia, she immediately obtained clarification and modified the cover to meet my needs with no additional cost. Her family came with her for the initial installation and removal of the cover. They took the time patiently to show us exactly how to install the cover while the boat is in the water and how to remove it when the boat is in the water. Her son also stated that sometimes there are issues with snaps that are mounted on the boat or on the cover. He shared that if we have any issues we are to call them immediately and they will come resolve the issue. I cannot recommend A&D Maldonado Upholstery highly enough. I will definitely be using them for any future upholstery needs. They offer a wide variety of upholstery services including Marine, Auto and Furniture. This was definitely a five-star plus experience.

After several weeks and numerous unreturned calls I was finally given an appointment to get my…read moreJaguar in for a repair of the convertible top. I dropped it off on a Thursday and was given a Monday completion date. Monday came no phone calls and more unreturned messages. Thursday came and I decided to check on my $108,000 Jaguar in person. Elaine was not there and the person at the desk had no information, but told me to call in a half hour and she may be back. I asked to see my car that was supposed to be in their shop and was told customers are not allowed in the shop. Walked around the building and found my car sitting at the back of a dirt junk yard like area. It had a tarp over the top with metal gromets and hooks scratching the paint. The car was not locked in the unsecured lot. They had not even started on the car. I got the key from them and drove it home. Washed the filthy car and started to buff out the scratches. There is more to the story that is worse than what I have already disclosed, but for now I will leave it at that. Use Upholstery 1 at your own risk, you have been warned.
