Mike waited on me and I told him that I wanted to use one (Mom's loyalty ring) ring band to enforce and fix my Dad's class ring. I also told him about a necklace that was pulling my hair out at the nape of my neck that I wanted to get rid of because I heard they buy gold there too. The ring had a lot of problems e.g. it was mounted incorrectly and the diamonds fell out. We returned the ring and I was of course heart broken. After some research we came across Goldsmith Jewelers. When we walked in we were greeted by Tina and Kurt. They were both super friendly and VERY helpful. They explained the diamond ratings and certifying diamond bodies. The information that they provided and Kurt's certifications, AGS and GIA, made us feel at ease and confident that they could create a beautiful ring. We asked if they had Marquise diamonds or if they could bring some in for us to look at. After a few days they called us to look at two diamonds and different settings. The diamonds and settings we're so beautiful it took me awhile to decide what I wanted. I eventually decided to get a plain halo setting. The ring took three weeks to create but it was well worth the wait. I'm obsessed and haven't stopped staring at it since we picked it up. None of us were dressed, looking like we had any money to spend and I was sparkly-eyed through my whole time in the store, but we received none of the condescending snotty judging that seems to be the stereotype. A young lady followed us to answer all of our annoying questions and she let me play with the perfume and lotions. Do I need to mention the complimentary candy and cookies?
