First time user-Very positive experience. The doc I had was very kind, patient and polite. Clinic was clean and wait time was short (Friday afternoon). Was able to determine wait time by checking online, so that was helpful. Waiting room large, clean and comfortable. The one receptionist (nurse? Not sure) didn't seem the friendliest. There's a number system to sign in that I wasn't aware of. The doctors room was freshly sanitized and doctor was clean professional and took the time to make sure she understood my problem. I will definitely be back and will recommend it as a great go-to medical clinic for my family. read more

The "doctor in the wheel chair" I saw at Sherwood Park Medicentre on Baseline in the Rexall was very competent. I came in for a skin condition and was assessed for my overall health (bodyweight, lifestyle, stress, etc.). A sample was taken for lab results, and the physician took time to speak with me about all of the factors in my life that could be impacting my physical wellbeing. I was not treated like livestock with an in and out diagnosis, but rather - properly assessed as a human being with a wholistic (by this I don't mean airy-fairy, but rather whole-person) approach to health RARELY seen in today's 5 minute in and out here's your prescription type doctor visits. Went in for a broken finger, after a 2 1/2 hour waiting time I was told by a doctor it was not broken and did not need a splint. A month later I went and got an X-ray from a different doctor. It was broken and needed a splint earlier into the healing process. Now I have permanently disabled crooked finger. read more

In the Rexall Drugstore. Always busy so get there early. You have to state your reason for appearance verbally so everyone can hear. You can't write it down. So no privacy. If you have a minor item you will be bumped. Expect to wait hours. Doctors were fine. read more

I will not be coming back. I'm a little disappointed that people who show up late for their appt time will still get in before someone who has been waiting for over an hour. If you show up late for your scheduled time you should have to wait. read more

The doctor in the wheel chair at Medicenter Sherwood Park Baseline is the most incompetent doctor I have ever encountered in my entire life. For 45 years I have had a condition called foot and mouth disease which only gets triggered once every 10 or 15 years. It has only happened 3 times, once when I was 10 years old, when I was 47, and this past week at the age of 54. If I get a cold or flu normally it does not trigger the foot and mouth condition which produces pimples on the right side of my throat. But if a cold or flu is bad enough the condition is triggered. At most I have had it no more than 4 times in my life. The horrific doctor in the wheel chair refused to give me antibiotics. This is the only thing that works. I thought I was going to die. He didn't believe I had this disease because it would produce pimples on my hand and feet, but I told him over and over it has translated to the right side of my throat; the previous diagnosis concur going all the way back to when I was 10. When I told the doctor I couldn't swallow, he obtusely said, "don't swallow". I asked him, then, how am I suppose to eat if I can't swallow? He was belligerent. He even said, everyone who comes in to his clinic thinks they have the worst throat problems for their cold or flu. I left the Medicenter from Hell and went straight to my savior the Emerald Hills Clinic and she diagnosed me correctly and gave me the antibiotics immediately. I was unable to swallow from Sunday, Monday, but woke up Tuesday and it was gone. I am so grateful to Emerald Hills. She saved my life. I don't think I could have lasted to Tuesday. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID! This is the MediCentre, located inside Rexal Drugs on Baseline road. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. Unless you are there when they open at 9am, they will refuse you, stating that they have too many patients (even though the waiting room is empty) and they always close early. They refuse to use the fast track program that the centres are suppose to use, and they have no bedside manner. The nurses & receptionist are EXTREMELY rude, and will tell you to go to the ER just so they don't have to deal with you. They have no empathy for their patients and don't care how sick you or your child is, they will make you wait for hours in the waiting room, even if your child is constantly throwing up and having a hard time breathing, just because they don't like you. read more

Worst run clinic in Sherwood Park and the Edmonton area. Will make you wait three hours while others who pulled tickets 15 numbers ahead of you and came in 2 hours later then you will get seen first, even thought they do not have appointments. Why because it seems to be a complete random system. Then when lunch comes around the computers mysteriously go down... for all but one doctor. That means the other doctors can not see patients because they are robots hooked up to the internet and can not function with out a computer. Even though the computers didn't "go down" for one doctor. Save yourself the stress and go to a real clinic! read more
