This place just reeks of small-town charm, from the staff of one male pharmacist and all female helpers to the pharmacy/liquor store combo. Hey don't hate, they work in a very small space and therefore require small people. Bill the Pharmacist is awesome, and unlike the big chain places I believe he genuinely cares about my well being. For example, I take Ambien. I once bought a bottle of rum while I was picking it up, and he came over and looked over his glasses at me and said "now young lady, don't use these at the same time"...and I was hooked. I realize it might seem condescending to some but coming from the big city where your pharmacist is little more than a licensed opium dealer I was quite touched. So yeah I strongly recommend this place, even if you don't live in Nyssa. I eventually moved away from the little village but still do business with them via mail. Occasionally if they are unable to fill promptly (insurance, blah blah blah) they have actually driven my scripts over to me. You don't get that kind of concern and care from Rite-Aid and certainly not Wal-Mart. I regret only that I have but 5 stars to give!

Overall, this is just a genuinely great place for your pharmacy needs.

The medication box in the package was as hot as the outside package. Even the small once-frozen brick (supposed to keep the med cold) was hot. The box says: "KEEP REFRIGERATED AFTER ARRIVAL." It also says: "The compounded medication is okay if arrived warm or frozen. It is still safe to use if the ice pack is melted." Other pharmacies give a very different message about the safety of this medication if it goes above 86 degrees. I mean, why not invest in a second ice pack in the heat of the summer? Seriously.
