I went to Walmart today and I was being watched in make-up isle. The manager kept peeking around…read morethe corner but didn't say anything to me I look up and when I seen him then he disappeared. I was just looking at different products I'm a shopper that looks at ingredients and different things due to my very sensitive skin. I was over there for awhile looking at product details but after I saw him the second time I was was starting to get creeped out which caused me to start getting hot and I had a panic attack. I went to get my husband in sporting goods I told him I felt dizzy, shaking and really hot. when I told him what happened he just said well we don't need to steal if it's that big of a deal they need to lock it up staring at my wife isn't appropriate. I begged him to let it go and hurry up to finish up our shopping quickly I seen him again over in the dog food area and again at the laundry soap it made my anxiety increase I started to feel like i couldn't breathe. we rushed as fast as we could to get out of there before I passed out we get to self checkout and there he was again I just started scanning my stuff I just wanted to get out of there. As soon as I finished paying for my items my husband tells me that red headed guy was watching you on a I pad while we checked out that was the same person who was following me around. He made me feel very uncomfortable the entire time and scared the whole time I was in the store. I got home and was looking at my items and I bought some wrong things that I can't use because I just grabbed and left when I seen him the second time in makeup isle. I felt like he was harassing me and now I don't even want to go back to the store to exchange my items that I bought wrong. I've never stole or give any reason to be followed that was extreme in my opinion. next time I will have my phone out recording you can't follow ppl and make them feel uncomfortable like that without any reason or a word to the customer. I really don't want to go back to that store I'd rather take my business elsewhere but unfortunately there isn't anywhere else to shop at. I might have to buy groceries but I won't buy anymore clothing or makeup I was shopping for my mother's funeral and wanted to buy some new stuff but after that forget it I'm not going to be treated that way.

My Granddaughter was staying with us and I took her into Chanute to go shopping. We ended up at this awesome drugstore. It had items I had never seen before. It also has a soda fountain they you can get all sorts of yummy things. We will be going back for a root beer float!

We lead the sign 'Old Fashioned Soda Fountain' and immediately went in to check it out! There it was complete with the padded seats on the bar stools at the counter and the neat little wire backed chairs and small (4 person) round 'ice cream' tables. The wire 'ice cream' tables & chairs are reproductions but are so like the originals. We loved it, so we had a lunch of grilled cheese and vanilla ice cream just like we remember from our childhood ! There was even a 1908 brass cash register and a scales to weigh yourself for only a penny. The old fashioned soda menu included Old Fashioned Sodas with whipped cream, cherry & nuts on top, cherry cokes, cherry or strawberry limeades, shakes, malts and RootBeer Floats. They offered grilled cheese and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches just like in our 'younger' days. They also offered a great menu if you wanted sometime not Old Fashioned ! There was a collection of old medicine and medicine containers we found quite interesting as well as an extensive gift section for both children and adults, candy, and an unopened bottle of Coca Cola from the pre-1929 Chanute Coca Cola Bottling Plant. We will be back for another Old Fashioned Treat and to do more shopping! Do stop by if you are in Chanute, it's well worth your time.
