This is the most unprofessional office so have ever been to. I had an appointment with Dr Adam Weilert (who is not in this office). When I arrived, there was no one in the office.
After waiting for 15 minutes for someone to arrive, the receptionist told another patient she would "have to tell the doctor a couple times because he gets confused".
Apparently she gets confused as well, because when I gave her my name and told her I had a 2 PM appointment, she handed me the paperwork and ask for my insurance and ID. At this point she should have known I was in the wrong office.
As I started to fill out paperwork, I mentioned the name of my insurance and she informed me they don't accept it. Then stated insurance doesn't normally cover chiropractic. I asked if she got the referral from my doctor. Which she confirmed getting.
I then handed her back the paperwork and told her to cancel the appointment. I wouldn't be paying for it since Dr Weilert told me himself he does accept my insurance.
Fast forward to the next day, I get a text from the actual doctor asking if I wanted to reschedule. After a conversation about what happened the day before, we figured out I was at the wrong office.
Dr Timothy Weilert's office is unprofessional and sleazy in its practice. They should have told me they didn't have me listed for an appointment instead of trying to poach me as a patient.
If you can't trust someone to be honest, you definitely don't want to trust them to perform medical procedures that could leave you paralyzed if done incorrectly.
I will be reporting this to the medical board. I'm also filing a small claims case against them for the cost of traveling from Fall River to Chanute and back, loss of wages due to their unprofessional actions which resulted in a second trip to Chanute to see the actual chiropractor I had an appointment with, and the intentional infliction of continued physical pain caused by their decision to not be honest. read more
