The staff was lovely, and she absolutely refused to take payment for adjusting my glasses, despite the fact that they accommodated me urgently as I was under a major time crunch. I again offered and insisted, and was again politely told it wasn't an issue and they were happy to help. Also met the store manager and chatted with her a bit. Very friendly and helpful. Store has an optometrist and a good selection. Great team with amazing customer service. I repeatedly offered to pay for the adjustment since my glasses were not from their store, and all they asked was that I consider them when I'm in the market for some new frames or lenses. The 2nd chance was today when I spoke to Amanda at Noon to order my $1,300 frames and lenses that were already picked out in September on file and I had finally saved money to pay (I have a horrible astigmatism and -13 prescription hence the custom made lens price). Like the past experience, there was no follow up by their sales lady to take my credit card number so at 6PM I popped into Hakim Optical in Milton and with their promotion I bought TWO sets of frames/glasses with custom made lenses for $400 dollars less. Alisa and her doctors are professional but her Team at the front desk are tripping over each other with no Customer Service or Memory. I guess I should thank Milton Eye Care on Holly Ave for these 2 experiences bc it saved me over a Grand switching to Hakim Optical.

The owner Bo has been providing excellent customer service to us and that's why we've been there for the last 5 years. He continues brining more different brands and styles, so customers have more choices. He also customize his services to your need. He also gave us great aftercare services. We've been bringing in some glasses to him for repair even I didn't purchased from his store. He never rejected his services or give us a hard time! Dr. Brown is very professional, knowledgeable and kind. The staff is also very helpful and make it fun to pick out new frames. They will actually tell me if they don't like a pair on me and always let me take my time choosing. Even that one time I was looking after they were closed, I never felt rushed. We just had our appointment this past Wednesday with Dr. Thiessen, and he was absolutely amazing! The whole staff is super friendly and easy to talk to. I was worried my son would have a freak out with having lights shined in his eyes but Dr. Thiessen was so awesome with him and was able to keep him calm and happy. He was so informative and easy to talk to and discuss any concerns I have for myself or my son. The nurse helping me pick new glasses was so fun to deal with, gave me so many options and opinons on what looked good. When I was finished and bought my new glasses they told me it would be about 2 weeks... they called me 2 days after my appointment to tell me they are ready! Such a quick turn around! They were completely booked but Dr MacNeill was able to squeeze me in. It turns out I have an eye infection and my contact lens was scratched as well. She provided me with drops, home treatment supplies and advice and a new temporary lens until I get home to see my regular doctor. The entire staff was extremely professional, friendly, responsive and took great care of me. Very grateful for their help. If you are looking for an optometrist, look no further!

We came to Credit Valley Optical based on our doctor's recommendation to buy our son a pair of…read moreglasses where we have been offered to immediately pay for second pair of lenses to save some money and get a discount. Our initial interaction was not that great as we waited for about 10 days to get the lenses but this was at the start of COVID so I can say that it was understandable. We came back after year and half to get second pair of glasses and was told that initial offer was valid for a year. We had no idea about this policy. We payed close to $500 for single pair and now we could not get what we paid for second time. We tried to talk to the lady working there but she did not want to hear nothing we had to say. She said that new pair of lenses are $200 irrespective. We asked for discount at least since we already payed for the second pair, and that was out of option too. But the major problem was tone and arrogance that she directed to us, the customers. Ultimately, we went to another store that had kids glasses and we did not pay anything for lenses and got great discount for the whole package (by far better than what this store offered). This is very unfortunate situation that I hope owners will correct at least for future customers. I will also take a note to doctor that recommended this store, as in the end, we feel cheated.
