I went to Walgreens and my insurance denied the vaccination because it was from a pharmacy(at this point I'm furious) I proceeded to call the insurance and asked for an override(DENIED) Lastly I got on Dr. Google, and WALAH like magic I found City Life!!!! The staff was polite, the place was very clean, the wait was minimal, and the process was smooth. The dr. even informed me of an ear infection that I thought I may has. After calling out from work, I looked around online and saw the minute clinic near me. They open up at 8:30 am and seem to close around 7-7:30 pm, with an hour closed for lunch (2 pm). Weekend hours are a bit shorter but I think they're open 7 days a week. Booked my appointment online, only had to wait about 10 minutes tops after arriving and checking in. After booking, you'll get texted/emailed a code, just type that in at the kiosk in the store and give them a few other pieces of info/sign crap, and you're good to go. It's located just off the pharmacy to the side, so you'll get to stare at the people waiting in the ridiculous pharmacy line while you wait! The provider (sadly I didn't get her name) was awesome. She did NOT order any unnecessary tests, especially knowing I was uninsured. She took the time to walk me over and get something OTC to help me out. I really appreciated that. I got my diagnosis without the ridiculous ER or walk-in clinic bill. In fact, minute clinic posts their prices online, so no big surprises if you're paying cash. I'd go here for any non-emergency if I couldn't see my PCP, or didn't have insurance. Heck, I'd still go back once insurance kicks in for simple stuff. I wish they had more of these and more providers like the one I saw today.

An hour passes I'm told around 2 or 3 I will be seen. I check with the front desk explaining I've been here for longer then told and I was then told I'm 7th in line and for me to wait another hour. I waited another hour to be told I'm next. After being told I'm next 3 other patients are being seen before me. I could understand if they were slammed with patients but they are not. They open early and I went right in; Carmen at the check in desk was friendly and quick to register me. As it was first thing in the morning, it was a minimal wait to see a doctor. Dr Beth listened to my issue (a foot injury which has since healed), gave her opinion through an exam and gave me an x-ray referral. Her medical opinion ended up being correct and it thankfully wasn't an issue too long. All told I was here less than 30 min and mentally felt a lot better. It was simply a standard copay for an office visit and no other billing issues. If you're visiting Hershey and something happens to you or a family member, this is a great alternative to the ER.

He asked for a shot of Tordol which is what is neurologist recommends for these situations. They gave him a combo shot of Tordol, zofran for nausea and a steroid. They said that they wanted to stay in the exam room to make sure he did not have an allergic reaction. PA left and closed the door and no one checked on him for 45 minutes. If he did have an allergic reaction, no one would have known. He finally walked out into the hall and they were surprised to see him. If he had anaphylaxis, he could have died.
