This has to be one of the worst landscaping companies I've seen in recent memory. Take a look at their website gallery. It about sums up their quality. They should probably at least make the effort to look like they know what they're doing in that regard. I've watched them work on large residential projects and individual homes close to me. It's shocking at how bad of a job they do. There are more weeds than healthy grass and the edging and other finishing work looks as if a blind person did it (I apologize to the blind because I think they could do better). After four years of seeing their efforts, I'd swear that their hydroseed only contains crabgrass. Don't even bother getting a quote from this company. You'd be better off donating your money to a charity. At least you'll feel better about it. read more

Medeiros Landscaping has been taking care of all of our landscaping and odds and ends for almost 30 years. Paul and his crew are an incredible group. They pay very close attention to all details. I emailed the company to quote a price for leaf clean up and a few overhanging branches to be cut, and they replied within a day. I was pleased with the price and moved forward. The job was done in a timely fashion, promised work completed for the price quoted. I will call them for next years fall clean up! Very happy. read more

My husband and I were really unimpressed with this company. We were calling to schedule a time for hydro seeding and my husband wanted a time when he could be home while the company was at our home. One late afternoon, I went out to run errands and when I returned home 2 hours later, the lawn was covered in hydro-seeding that looked very sloppy. It was unscheduled and done after 5pm so I imagine the workers just wanted to hurry and get it done. It certainly looked that way. There was hydro seeding on the siding of the house, all over the bulkhead, splattered on our tools, and some landed on the side of our car. Furthermore, the seeding looked very unevenly distributed. There were patches of heavy seeding and then areas that were barely reached in the backyard. When we called, the owner seemed to be understanding on the phone and said he would come by and look at the work. (This was around 4pm) We thanked him and waited for him to come by for almost three hours. When we called him back, he said he had driven by the house and everything "looked good," even though he could not possibly see the back of the house or the mess the workers left from driving past our house without getting out of his car. My husband very calmly stated that he thought the workmanship was sloppy, communication had been unprofessional, and he would not be using the company again. While my husband was mid-sentence, the owner hung up on him. With all of the great landscaping companies in the area, I would NOT recommend this company due to the sloppy/rushed work and an owner who hangs up on customers. read more

Last year we used Medeiros for spring clean up and mulch. The clean was supposed to include removal of leaves into a wooded area at the edge of my property. When they were finished, the leaves were still there. The mulch was spread later that day by high school kids who applied the mulch as thinly as possible. We have fabric weed barrier and the mulch didn't even cover that in some spots. I then made the mistake of having them back to give our bushes a heavy cut back. I explained to the company's manager that I wanted more than a superficial trimming. I wanted the bushes cut back as much as possible. I also stipulated which bushes to cut and NOT CUT. When they arrived I found that they were trimming a bush that should only be pruned after flowering, as I had stipulated to the manager. The result was that terminal branches that would normally bear flowers were removed and there half as many flowers as in previous years. When we met, the manager did not write down any of my instructions. A row of bushes bordering the property was to be pruned on both sides. I asked the senior worker if they did both sides. They were packing to leave when I called them back to do the side facing my neighbor. He said that the manager had instructed them to only do the side facing our house. That wasn't the deal. They started packing up again when I pointed out two arbor vitae that had grow together and I had wanted pruning back to appear as two bushes, not one. They were at my house for two and a half hours and that was after I called them back from packing up twice to do the job that the manager agreed to do. The price quoted was for bushes to be cut back, not just superficially trimmed. It seems that the manager failed to communicate to her workers what she and I had agreed to. I will not hire this company again. I held off posting this review until now, after reading some of the other reviews. read more

We have been using Medeiros Landscaping for almost 10 years now, and they've yet to disappoint me. They are at my house every week on schedule to mow the lawn, and always to do a great job when the time comes to the trim hedges or trees that are on my property. I have dogs, so I always like to know that they are there at the same time weekly, so I can assure my dogs do not get out. They also hydroseeded for me a good few years back now, the job was very nice. I am completely happy with Medeiros Landscaping as my GO-TO for anything landscaping related. I have and would continue to recommend them to any friends or anybody in general looking for any type of landscaping work, I believe they also do a good amount of other types of services as well. read more
