They called me to conduct a phone interview and right away they let me know the minimum pay would be offered if I got the job. I make 28$ an hour at one job (before OT) and 24$ per hour at my part-time government job (before OT). Instead they offer 19$ (salaried) even though the Workforce Specialist can pay 25$ an hour maximum. They're always hiring because of low ball pay to supposed professionals dedicated to helping others understand the job market and seek gainful employment. Waste of time and reason they always have job openings for what should be a good job with tons of rewards helping others, but instead they take the low ball pay road. I love helping people, but will not be ripped off by company's that take advantage of folks that dedicate their lives to helping others by offering the lowest pay possible when they can offer more in the first place. These type of companies are always hiring more people to replace those leaving for jobs with better pay and probably a better work environment.

They not only facilitiate someone stealing your check, but your identity as well. Tom Gould, the owner of Pinpoint doesn't seem to get it--he doesn't think there's any problem with leaving peoples' live checks posted in public. This agency is smarmy and unprofessional. My recruiter has been very good overall, stays in touch, and no complaints about her…read more I found my current contract through Aerotek, the Westminster, CO office, and it led to a second contract with the same company. I also went through them for another contract to hire position several years ago, but I was referred there by the company I was working for, and Aerotek acted as intermediary in the contract to hire process. So in that case Aerotek wasn't my choice, it was the company's choice. They pay the agreed rate, and it has been on time like clockwork via direct deposit. I don't give them a higher rating though, because I think they generally aren't proactive at all about finding new contracts or direct hires. It seems like once you have a contract, they aren't looking ahead to the next placement. I also would like to see them negotiate paid holidays as a standard procedure - I understand that depends on the client company, but it is a downside if the company closes for a holiday and to get a regular paycheck you have to make up a lot of hours (if the company allows you to make up hours). So for a contractor there's never a "holiday", it's just a pain. That's a general criticism of contract agencies, not just Aerotek. I do agree with other reviewers about the long in-office interviews and I would add that there's a huge stack of redundant onboarding paperwork - OMG, it's like buying a freakin' house!

Insist on a phone interview with the recruiter & only do onsite for the client they might have. If you are truly good fit & there actually is a solid position to fill, they will interview you over the phone.
