Target billing is the worst company I have ever had experience with. Do not get a Red Card…read more Decided to try their credit card to get a 5% discount. That's where my story with Target begins. First they sent my bill to the wrong address. My local post office sent it back to them. When The bill came I promptly paid it by check and mailed it at the post office. Next they billed me again and with a 39% penalty added. After they lectured me not to pay by mailing a check, they waived the penalty and took a phone payment to my bank. In 3 weeks they started calling saying they have not received my payment. They said the account number was wrong and the payment would not go through. This was odd since the agent that took my account number read it back to me twice correctly. So I had them do a phone payment again and had my red card account cancelled. Now 3 weeks later they sent an invoice showing my two phone payments. This puts me now at having over paid. It show my balance at $0. I am now trying to get a refund for my over paid balance which they demanded I pay or they would report me to the credit monitoring companies. While 5% sounded good it was a trap and I regret ever going into their store. Obviously I will never go in one again. I pay my bills on time and never carry a balance. I use a few other cards but never ever have any problem with any of their billing departments. This is a company you must avoid. Wish I could rate them 0 stars.

At least 5 times a year this happens and no explanation from target billing. I just paid my card off and had them cancel the card. You would think the customer service in this current economy would be better. But target doesn't seem to care for the customer only their Pockets. I don't recommend this card to anyone. And if you have it cancel it.

So they did my taxes and did them accurately. I'm not so sure that they saved me any money, but…read morethey didn't cost me any extra either. The problem came when the IRS did not post my final payment. I received a bill from the IRS saying that I owed them over $2000. I sent the letter and the proof of payment to them and asked them what happened? They told me that I had to call the IRS to find out why they didn't post my payment. I even reverified that they were not going to make that call for me. My taxes are complicated, and I have had a CPA prepare my taxes and electronically file them every year for the past 30 years. Things like this don't happen often, but when they do THE CPA IS THE ONE WHO CALLS THE IRS ON MY BEHALF!! If there were an error on the preparation of the document, then I would have been at a loss to explain it. I ended up waiting on the phone for 4 hours and was able to get it straightened out myself. However, I am now looking for another accounting firm because this is not the level of service I require. At the same time, as I said, they prepared my taxes accurately, so I don't think it's fair to give them just one star. I'm not sure I would recommend them though, just based upon the fact that they aren't going to help you if anything goes wrong.
