If you are in need of urgent care this is the place you go. They are amazing! So friendly,…read morehelpful, and caring. I did not have a long wait and the staff was so kind. The doctor was fabulous! He actually looked at me and listened to me as I spoke. The last two doctors I visited never once looked at me. They only looked at the paperwork but not at the form I was required to fill out as I got to my appointment, that asked forty questions. They basically made judgements based on whatever it was they were reading and never responded to anything I asked about or tried to tell them. The doctor at Urgent Care was the polar opposite! He looked, listened, then asked if I had any other concerns, and genuinely seemed to care! This is medicine as it was really intended to be performed. Love this place!

What a sh*t show. The front desk- I believe she said her…read morename is Mary- hates her job and makes sure everyone else is well aware of that. Wearing her mask below her nose--way to let people know up front you have zero belief in the realm in which you work--she didn't even say anything after I gave her my name. ??? When I called back right after leaving to ask my Rx be sent to a different place (because it's a holiday weekend, and I called and found they are closed next 2 days) Mary did not pass on the message. (I'm going to assume by her lackluster prior performance that Mary is the culprit because the nurse and doc were nice and looked like they new what they were doing.) The phone lines were already shut before closing time, so when I reached the substitute pharmacy an hour later, they didn't have what I needed. So I just again want to give Mary an extra shout out for being an incompetent waste of space out there making the world a worse place, and made sure that someone sick and in pain could not get the medication they needed. Too bad this was all a waste of time. Never again.

So. The morning after my hip replacement surgery, I got dizzy and passed out... and wrecked my…read moreshiny new hip! It was possibly the greatest pain I've ever been in. Required paramedics to carry me to the ambulance and a trip to Community Hospital South, where my orthopedist (Dr. Martin, who is awesome) has privileges. The hospital was so very clean, with squeaky floors, the quiet voices of people who obviously liked working together -- there was always someone helping me, talking with me and His Goatness, answering our questions. People were friendly, professional, kind. They ensured I received pain medications as we waited for Dr. Martin to repair my hip. When prepping me for surgery, I asked in desperation if we could avoid movement until after I was under general anesthesia... while they couldn't, they worked so slowly and carefully, and even cut off my underwear as I asked, to avoid moving that dislocated hip. Once I woke, Dr. Martin and the nursing team were there. I'd needed another surgery, alas, to get the hip fixed... but there was finally no pain. I was checked into a comfy room, set up with everything I needed (water -- I was so very thirsty... dinner, tissues, etc.), and then a respiratory therapist visited, to help me get my lungs properly reinflated after being in surgery. (This is a real thing. I've read the studies, and I was impressed that they were so on-the-ball.) While the nursing team got me up every couple of hours to give me medicine, help me use the commode, etc., they got me tucked back into bed where I slept well afterwards. This morning, I'll be working with Physiotherapy to get up and moving, before they send me home. The quality of care was impeccable. Thank you, Dr. Martin, Dr. Mudhar, Dr. Hunt, Danielle, Sam, Jordan, Lisa, Katy, Shannon, Jessica, Misty, Kaitlin, Henriette, and everyone else who took such great care of me.

My wife was at Community South for the past week after receiving an infection from surgery. I was…read moretold to come pick her up today at 1 pm and was told she would be waiting at the front door. I got there, no wife. I waited 15 minutes, went in and fould out that no one had prepared to move her. I asked the nurse when, she told me 2 p.m. I waited until 2:15, I went to the nurses station and no one was there. I went home, expecting a call. I finally called back at 3:15. I was switched to the nurses station, no one answered. I recalled the Hospital and asked again, I was told she was transferred and was told that I could not get that information. I demanded to talk to a patient care coordinator who would not tell me either. She said that She would have a supervisor call me. I told her that she had one hour. I am still waiting. This hospital infected my wife and has now taken her and will not tell me shere. I will probably have to call the police. Well the police will not get involved since it is a medical problem. After making multiple calls I found out where they had taken her. I then found out her Iphone and apple watch were stolen in the transfer. I called their security and they said the items could not be found.
